Nicole Richie’s Maternity Collection For A Pea In The Pod
August 10th, 2009 by kpriss
Nicole Richie is so creative while pregnant! And so active! She came out with the House of Harlow jewelry collection around her first pregnancy and now she’s (completely surprising, I know) premiering her clothing designer self trough A Pea In The Pod.
Saying that Nicole Richie’s Maternity collection is original is like saying that it’s raining upside down, but she’s pregnant, so I’ll confess to not being entirely objective in this matter. Because even though she brought nothing really new and/or relevant to the maternity way of clothing, it’s a blessing to see some normal outfits in a maternity store! Lindsay Lohan By Rankin For Elle UK September 2009
August 10th, 2009 by kpriss
Since when Lindsay Lohan has become a fashion item? Elle UK September 2009 features Lindsay Lohan as their main story and cover for the Fall Fashion issue.
Still a redhead when the shoot occurred, Lindsay looks a natural in front of the camera. Maybe because her entire life is constantly monitored by paparazzi lenses? She’s so busy that you can hardly see her doing a movie these days! (the story continues right after the jump with more pictures and a video!)

Anna Sui 2009 Haircare Line
August 9th, 2009 by kpriss
I can see why people go for a label or another. When it comes to wearing things. But when it comes to care/beauty products, I’m a bit puzzled.
So I’ll use presenting Anna Sui’s Haircare line as a pretext to ask you how do you choose your beauty/care products? Because this new Anna Sui line is using the catwalk backstage as speculation, saying that is has been tested and proven efficient there. (and yes, that is Agyness!) Why she was picked up by a Stateside magazine and not one of her own, is still a mystery, but British newly discovered talent, Susan Boyle has a full editorial accompanied by very high fashion photos in the American edition of Harper’s Bazaar September 2009.
Don’t we just love a good story about talent and out-of-the-blue success? Take that, add a normal person to it and you have Susan Boyle, the Makeover from Harper’s Bazaar September 2009. This will turn into a movie, you’ll see! (more pictures and a video right after the jump!)

Advertising Models Vs Celebs
August 9th, 2009 by kpriss
It was officially the subject of a poll and the results showed that ad campaigns with non-models as spokesfaces weren’t as sales booster as we could have suspected them to be.
The celebrity factor was able to convince 8% of the customers to buy just because of the celeb-face on! 12% even admitted a negative impact of the celeb-face but 78% were untouched by the celebrity factor. Let’s hope this gets to important ears and we’ll consequently see more and more models doing their jobs (including fashion magazines covers)! (via)

Ashley Olsen Does Marie Claire September 2009
August 9th, 2009 by kpriss
From childhood heroes and children movies professionals, the petites Olsen twins have moved up to fashion. At such a high level, one of them even makes a Fall Fashion Issue cover and we all find it to be a normal appearance.
Launching a fashion-anything is so easy once you’re famous. Having a world of admirers and followers could be just the result of having grew up with the twins, practically, so they don’t have to work on the trust issue anymore. They’re certified gold. Chloe Sevigny For Opening Ceremony Fall Winter 2009 2010 Collection
August 9th, 2009 by kpriss
Now if you happen to have $630 or $525 and you don’t know what to do with, you can consider buying yourself a pair of Chloe Sevigny For Opening Ceremony footwear.
Starting her way up, Chloe Sevigny’s new fall-winter 2009 2010 collection for Opening Ceremony introduces the fancy strappy wedges you’ll undoubtedly find interesting if it wasn’t for the price label. I was wondering: since Chloe’s success and fame don’t really source in her designer activity, why doesn’t she lower those prices a bit? It’s a financial proven fact that selling important volumes makes more profit than selling just a handful of expensive items.
