I was running a bit late on my Men of Style due and that really bugged me for some time. Today it’s catching up time. At least for a modest part of my post-Emma Watson mini obsession debt.
Zachary Quinto is one of my favorite Heroes and with a little luck he may be your favorite Heroes too. That is if you’re watching the NBC series “Heroes”. And this article uses the pretext of an article/pictorial Zachary Quinto did for GQ Germany June 2009, but is mainly a Men of Style column about Zachary Quinto. She appeared on the world’s map almost a year ago, being Bella Swan, Twilight’s darling. Now she’s on everyone’s radar, one day she’s single, the next she’s Robert Pattinson’s girlfriend and the next she’s pregnant with his child. That must be really intense to live!

Natalia Vodianova For Guerlain Fall 2009 Beauté Slave Makeup Collection

There’s something girly and lovable about Guerlain I always appreciated and felt close. For their Fall Winter 2009 2010 collection, they went with a Beauté Slave theme and chose Natalia Vodianova as spokesface.
With names and colors evoking Russian specificities, Guerlain’s new collection’s star product seems to be the Volga Princess. It’s an eyes and lips palette with light pink and brown in an embroided silver metallic cassette. (the story continues right after the jump!)

Mary Kate Olsen, is that really you? Last we saw you, you were the grey queen at this year’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala.
You were looking every inch the Queen of Boho Style and Dubious Fashion in a slick Christian Lacroix dress. But today it’s another story: MK, are you alright? It seems everyone is worried and speculating over your weight and health (and in all reason as anorexia has always been in your life), although a less-glamorous appearance can make people think that something’s wrong!

I missed Natalie Portman! I really did! I realized that when I saw that gorgeous AnOther cover of hers and now I’m rejoicing the royal Natalie looking unbelievable on the cover of Interview Magazine, September 2009.
I don’t even mind that she’s really not into fashion, I don’t even mind that she’s covering a Fall Fashion issue! Just look at that cover! (and try to ignore the tagline “Natalie Portman’s Dirty Little Secrets!) Is that the new ubertrendy solarize effect premiered by Madonna? It’s another Steven Meisel after effects team effort? Mariah Carey’s Forever Perfume Ad

If you see this ad and you haven’t seen Final Fantasy, The Spirits Within, the movie, then you won’t see the striking resemblance. But you will notice that Mariah looks significantly different from her real life persona.
Why would Mariah Carey consider that much Photoshop just to advertise for her own perfume? One – because she can; two – because she’s Mariah and she can; three – because she’s Mariah and she don’t care about us; and four – because Mariah now quitted singing (after that regrettable Michael Jackson tribute voice incident) and now she’s selling Adobe Photoshop! When I thought the fashion world was at Kate Moss’ feet, I was pretty wrong. By half. There goes Lara Stone holding yet another September cover for Numéro 106.
She seems to be pretty loved by French editors since she’s gracing another French Magazine cover with a picture of hers comme d’habitude, photographed by her beloved Kaiser Karl. If I didn’t know this was just fashion, Lara would give me serious nightmares with her frown angry look! Couldn’t they praise a smiling model? (photo via)
