Every time I see some fashion (or else) news about Jessica Simpson, in my mind I get the interrogative reflection about just in how many ways television and the celeb-gossip media have changed our lives! Just look at Macy’s Herald Square new windows and (hopefully) you’ll understand what I mean.
Jessica Simpson is the perfect blonde stereotype that will never put and end to blonde jokes or preconceptions about how many neuronal synapses a pretty blonde head experiences in a lifetime of (non) thinking. After showing Lindsay Lohan’s Elle-friendly face, Rankin photographed Lily Allen for the October 2009 issue of Elle UK. Because she’s British and she’s Hot (he said).
For someone who’s highly controversial and foremost known as a smoking and drinking champion, Lily really had fun doing this simple Elle job (not to mention she was acclaimed by the photograph, the stylist and pretty much everyone on the photo-team). Seinfeld Is Back!

They’re getting back together (sort of) for another TV series: HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. I’m not familiar with the show but it goes on for six seasons, so it should be interesting. Its creator, Larry David (the same Seinfeld co-creator Larry David) had the idea of reuniting the Seinfeld team for some Curb episodes.
Since I strongly dislike spoilers, I’ll say no more about the details of this reunion, but it’s a guest star appearance only and they will not be making any sequels to Seinfeld. Even so, this means I’ll be getting my hands on Curb Your Enthusiasm! Are you watching it? How does it feel? (via)

Beyonce still rocks her L’Oreal contract. Because she’s worth it. The new L’Oreal Holidays special ad campaign features Queen Bee wearing a beautiful fringe flapper dress and a highly filtered and photoshopped pretty face. (can you believe we’re already talking about Christmas collections?)
No, she’s not showing off her dress but her eyes makeup. With a little help from the digital retouching team. Because she’s worth it. Again! Seeing this makes me think I’ll give up makeup completely and become a pro in Photoshopping. That way, I can retouch my own photos any way I please. Isn’t Photoshop a wonderful beauty tool?
