Popping The Question
September 15th, 2009 by kpriss
This poster right here should stand on your bedside wall, not that Twilight Edward Cullen – Robert Pattinson halo thingie! Go to bed, you see that poster and ask yourself if you’re happy. Wake up the next morning, see the poster and ask yourself the same question. If the answer goes to “No”, do take some action, it’s only up to you!
Are you Happy? What makes you Happy? Share that happiness with us, please! There’s nothing more refreshing than a happy smile! (I’ll set the example, now: I’m Happy, yes, I am! And grateful, forever thankful for that! I love my husband, we love the kids, we do and love to do everything together and if I could be his Siamese twin, I’d still miss him if I turned my head the other way and stop seeing him for one second. But don’t you think that was easy! Don’t you think we didn’t had to go through fire and ice to find each other! Real happiness never was easy for me. I wish you’d be Happy too! I wish I’d see more smiling, happy faces all around!) (via)
A Healthy Model’s Diet
September 15th, 2009 by kpriss
What should models (and not only models) eat for a healthy, beautiful and flawless, toned silhouette? The CFDA (The Council of Fashion Designers of America) issued a food guide to support models (part of the CFDA Health Initiative) and show them a healthy path.
Now let’s get to the point: what should we eat (and when) to look (and feel) like a model? (the answer after the jump!)
Puma Trail Trainer By Alexander McQueen 2009 Fall Winter Collection
September 15th, 2009 by kpriss
Don’t you just love a good pair of sneakers when you see them? I’ve been a huge Puma fan for years. My Adored Husband owns a proven-to-be-immortal, indestructible pair of Puma Clyde (green suede). How could you not love the classic cut, the colorful twist and the made-to-resist design?
However, this is not a Puma Clyde appreciation post. This is all about the ongoing collaboration between Alexander McQueen and Puma. The 2009/2010 fall-winter collection gives us the Trail Trainer. (the story continues after the jump with more images!)

Carolina Herrera And Daughter Got Milk Campaign
September 15th, 2009 by kpriss
Milk is really important to our health. Mothers know that. Carolina Herrera posed alongside her daughter (Carolina Adriana) for the “Got Milk?” campaign.
Striking a beautiful, clean pose, the poster reads “Well fit. Fabric is my livelihood, and good health is the fabric of my life. That’s why my daughter and I love milk. It’s nature’s wellness drink – naturally nutrient rich like no other beverage. Now that’s style to live for. Drink well. Live well.” (the story continues right after the jump with more pictures and a behind the scenes video!)

Marketing is a tricky thing. You have appx one minute to try and figure it out. What’s the next commercial about? (the answer after the jump, if you haven’t put the pieces together already!)

Pregnant. Not
September 14th, 2009 by kpriss
We’re playing that game again! Penelope Cruz recently denied all the pregnant rumors saying that she’s not expecting.
Every photo taken of her lately was pointing in the opposite direction, though, and everyone was on the baby bump watch. Who better than time to tell us which is which? (photos via)

Baptiste Giabiconi’s Purple Magazine Moment By Karl Lagerfeld
September 14th, 2009 by kpriss
Baptiste Giabiconi photographed by Karl Lagerfeld isn’t exactly what I’d call a newsflash. It stopped being interesting and became downright dull. Predictable always lean towards dull.
What you didn’t know, and fashion didn’t told us so far, is that those black high heels shoes you’re seeing in the picture (yes, that’s Baptiste right there, wearing the heels) are prostitute shoes! (wait, what?) Here’s what the Purple Magazine editor himself, Olivier Zahm (yes, the same one who likes posting nude pictures of his girlfriends after he’d posted snaps of his young daughter on his blog) has to say about the matter: (via)
Karl was really inspired by Baptiste. Because Baptiste connects him to a lot of different periods of his life and he’s a living journal — can you say that? — for Karl. He can really transform Baptiste into different characters. […] So I said, ‘Okay, you shoot a man, but as a Helmut Newton woman.’ He immediately chose Baptiste, and he had the great idea to use these prostitute high heels, which are just meant for prostitutes — they’re not meant for a glamorous night.

Patrick Swayze’s Dirty Dancing I’ve Had The Time Of My Life
September 14th, 2009 by kpriss
I know the week just begun and it’s not really time for a Friday Break. However, I’d like to take a moment to enjoy Patrick Swayze’s Dirty Dancing final dance for he is no more with us.
Fighting with cancer has finally caught up with him and as of today, Monday, September 14th 2009, Patrick Swayze left us for (hopefully) better places. R.I.P Patrick Swayze!
