Eva Longoria’s Prestige Magazine
November 15th, 2009 by kpriss
The last (and the first) time we discussed Prestige Magazine, we also felt the empowerment and the enlightenment provided by an interview with Karl Lagerfeld. This time, the very posh, Hong Kong based magazine takes on Eva Longoria Parker.
There’s little makeover, especially par rapport au dernier magazine number Eva pulled on us with that radical bob wig and eighties graphical makeup. (the story continues right after the jump with more images!)
Kate Moss Makes Jam, Thinks Nothing Tastes As Good As Skinny Feels
November 15th, 2009 by kpriss
Not long ago, Kate Moss was taking huge pride on her newfound shapes. Fuller figure seemed to fulfill Kate on the inside too. However, in a recent interview, her Shallowness said her motto is : Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. She also said she’s making jam to relax. That must be a really crappy jam for Kate still is skinny! (WWD)

Nike HiTech Sneakers
November 13th, 2009 by kpriss
Being irreconcilably torn between art and viral fun, today I’m going to introduce you to a special Nike Sneakers collection. A truly technological one!
Made by Gabriel Dishaw, the junk art sneakers are a series of junk art sculptures celebrating the artist’s love for sneakers. Nike sneakers. The Junk Dunk, the Nike High Terminator, the Blazer Pentium 1.0 are made from found objects from typewriters, adding machines, old computers carefully disassembled and artfully reassembled into a new shape. Clearly not a wearable idea, but surely an artsy, amazingly crafty one! What say you? (artworlds apart from the bread slippers everyone was fond of, eh?) (via)
Daphne Guinness Is A Fashion Alien. By McQueen
November 13th, 2009 by kpriss
Lady Gaga, who? Look at this fierce and ferosh fashionista here! There’s nobody to match her sense of daring and doing fashion in the spotlight!
Daphne Guinness launches Nars 15×15 and wears Alexander McQueen while doing so. Manages to survive. We don’t. (weren’t those shoes inhumanly unwearable? How does one tiny, skinny woman manages to tame them heels and keep it all together like she does? Hmmm) (photo via)

30 Seconds To Mars Kings + Queens
November 13th, 2009 by kpriss
I was on to some sweet break at first but something made me change my mind: one day, at the radio (my car radio, the one that only plays children music when my car is the official kiddies bus, knows how to break the rhythm when there’s only mommy riding!) I heard this beautiful, beautiful tune! And after it had finished, they said it was 30 Seconds to Mars. yes, as in Jared Leto‘s 30STM!
I’m bringing it to you, to judge the beauty of it! Thank your for this most amazing week, for your truly wonderful and insightful comments, I hope you enjoy 30 Seconds to Mars Kings + Queens!
Demi Moore, The Photoshop Goddess From W December 2009
November 12th, 2009 by kpriss
Demi Moore covers the December 2009 issue of W Magazine. It makes sense. She’s a masterpiece of our plastic era. Of course, everything is uber-denied by Demi or her entourage.
So Demi, the age-warrior princess graces the cover of the artsy-fancy W Magazine in a beautiful Balmain dress and her flawless complexion is given by the Lancôme Photôgenic Lumessence Light-Mastering & Line-Smoothing Makeup SPF 15 in Bisque 6W. Should we believe W’s beauty editors or our eyes? (the story continues right after the jump with more images!)
