November 17th, 2009 by kpriss
It seems like ages ago, but last year’s Brangelina multimillion deal for the twins pictures issue really did happened. This year, however, celebrity paparazzi pictures worth the third of what it used to, making the above deal truly unrepeatable. Gossip just isn’t what it used to be. What will Brangelina do next for few fair millions? (the Daily Beast)

Gemma Ward Speaks Out!
November 17th, 2009 by kpriss
Gemma Ward was used to press hating. In the past, she was being criticized for the thinner-than-life modelling figure. Now she was thrown tomatoes at because she was larger-than-the-modelling-life. So what?
Rumored to have been taken a break from the spotlight after tragic events in her personal life (Heath Ledger’s death), Gemma’s weight brought her back in the everyone’s attention. Now she’s fighting back through Twitter and emails:
Thank you everyone for your support, all i’ll say on the subject is im content with my decision but i have said nothing will be permanent.[…] have not ‘quit modelling’ and my fans back home can expect to see me back at work modelling and acting in the new year.
Also, her mother declared that Gemma is staying in the US, interested in acting classes (Yale) and into charity:
She’s 22 years old and has worked incredibly hard. She’s had a very difficult few years personally and now she’s having a really lovely time doing things she wants to do and enjoying being young.[…] She’s been doing some great drama theatre courses and is considering doing a three-year course in Yale which is a great possibility. […]She was very interested to see what’s behind the glossy facade of Brazil and looking at the slums, with a view to doing something there in the future. (via 2)
Robin Wright Penn’s New Dark Hair
November 17th, 2009 by kpriss
I hereby confess a weakness for Robin Wright-Penn. (scratch the Penn? Oh, it doesn’t matter!) I like the woman. And I thought (and still continue to do so) she made a wonderful pair with Sean Penn.
Where I failed to have a proper update on was Robin’s hair. I believe she was a blonde. Since forever? Which color goes better on Robin’s pretty head? Golden or post-brake-up black? Cast your vote right after the first picture! (if you need more images to decide, click through!) (photos via)
BCBG Max Azria Spring Summer 2010 Collection
November 17th, 2009 by kpriss
Terribly feminine and wearable, the BCBG Max Azria collection for the 2010 Summer had me all bored halfway through. The respectable clothes and the cliché, déjà vu, there was too much room to breath chez BCBG.
Herve Leger-like bandage dresses, Versace-sques and Balenciaga-esques prints, there was too much of everything in this “new” collection. (the story continues right after the jump with more images and a video with the entire collection)
Light Up The Club With The LED’s Dress!
November 17th, 2009 by kpriss
Wearing a dress for a dancing night out may seem as a highly improbable choice if you’re in for the moves. What if you were in for the joy of lighting up the atmosphere?
You can do that and wear a dress! A dress made of 24,000 full color LED’s. (talk about glow in the dark!) Made by “Cute Circuit”, the dress is not just for the geek fashionista in you! The 4,000 Swarovski crystals hand-sewn on it take care of the bling effect! Where you can have you own? It’s currently only a prototype, on display at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. But hurry up and place an order if you don’t want Gaga to come and steal it away!
White Shirt, Blue Jeans The Always Fashionable Outfit. Always
November 17th, 2009 by kpriss
In the light of the new Gaga-fashion, even I had doubts that a simple outfit like a white shirt and a pair of jeans could be as effective as they once were.
Still. The modelling evidence that the white shirt and blue jeans outfit don’t fade from fashion and that they’re still the evergreen of style, the lbd of casual dressing, is brought to you (today) by Eva Jay Kubatova. Don’t give up simple dressing, there’s still hope! (photo via)

Amy Winehouse, The Next Barbie Doll?
November 17th, 2009 by kpriss
In a troubled world, the following comes as no surprise. However, I still have my hopes up and dream about a safe world for our children, a world where the proper values stand far from alcohol and illegal substances.
So behold: the next Barbie Doll could come in the likeness of Amy Winehouse! With black beehive and tattoos, the new Amy Winehouse Barbie is rumored to be just a project Amy is keen on right now. But what say you? Should Mattel grant her Barbie-wish? (via)
