Lagerfeld And Women
December 14th, 2009 by kpriss
Karl Lagerfeld preaching his unmatched wisdom to the fashpeople! Behold: “I think the women are better than the men. I think if I were a woman here, I would be a lesbian”. (enjoy more words of wisdom from various illustrious neurons here) (yes, that is truly a wide ear-to-ear laugh from the Kaiser!) (WWD, photo People)

Love Lara Stone, Issue Three, 2010
December 14th, 2009 by kpriss
Next year’s Love magazine brings you exactly what you were wishing for in their Issue Three: clotheless Lara Stone (as pictured by Mert and Marcus)! Didn’t you dream about another one of those photoshop blur tool generous touches in the nsfw areas? Be honest about it!
I hoped the Lara Stone madness will come to an end once 2009 ended. It seems the fashion world is so hungry for stars and scandals, they’re going to stick with Lara some more, placing her (according to this new LOVE amongst Fashion Icons). Is there really a fashion icon-ess attribute to Lara Stone? (photo via)

Lady Gaga’s Christmas Tree
December 14th, 2009 by kpriss
This is officially why I’ll be having a Gaga-free Christmas this year (and hopefully every year!): Lady Gaga misses no commercial opportunity so she’s out with a Christmas song (with Space Cowboy)!
The horror! No zombies (yet), no video (each and every god be praised!) the lyrics suffice to make this “song” an outrageousness. I miss Xtina’s Dirrrty days! I really do! How about you? (you can listen to Gaga’s Christmas Tree with lyrics on screen here)

Dare To Wear The Newspaper Recycled Shoes By Colin Lin?
December 14th, 2009 by kpriss
Already a big thing in Asia, Colin Lin’s newspaper recycled ballet flats come to you as the green alternative to the regular Christmas Shopping list! Her flats look lovely and they have such a great conscience!
Handmade from three and a half pages of Taiwanese language newspaper, each pair is equally focused on comfort and fashion as it is on the environment issues. (the story continues right after the jump with more images!)
Luz Casal Piensa En Mi
December 13th, 2009 by kpriss
We haven’t had a love song for a while, have we? While this is the cheering season and the time for giving and joy, it’s also the time for love. Thus I thought of Luz Casal’s Piensa en mi (from Pedro Almodovar’s High Heels). And it goes for you know who!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and you’re ready to start your most amazing week ever! May you be blessed with love every second of every day! (Try to look beyond the apparent sadness of the song and see the love within! Love makes us better in every way!) (I’ll update with more information soon)
Stunning Famous Portraits By Lorenzo Agius
December 13th, 2009 by kpriss
A stunning series of photos was presented before my eyes by the ultimate viral powers of all things Internet. Signed by Lorenzo Agius, they come in both men and women categories as fairy-tale-ish imagery.
Of course they’ve been retouched, you don’t really expect to straight point and shoot an image as perfect as the following? You did? Well, there’s no such thing. (and I have my sources!) You may alter many things with lenses and filters but you can never have such a flawless skin and perfect ambient striking colors. (the story continues right after the jump with more images. You can see the gallery here)
Temple Bags, The Perfect Christmas Bag. Gift.
December 13th, 2009 by kpriss
I have a sincere and unabashed love for large bags, the least feminine, military looking bags like the ones below! I own a similar one we bought in Paris, from the prestigious head swirling Lafayette galleries (what can you do? I’m a simple girl and I like crowded places – there was no one chez Chanel so we went in a more popular store and bought the bag there! Joking – I’m not for tags and extravagant prices. I cherish comfort and the simple joys of life.)
Getting back to the bags! Behold: the Temple Holiday Collection, 2009! (the story continues right after the jump with more images and a video)
The Detective Leather Look By Victoria Beckham
December 11th, 2009 by kpriss
Some days she does, some days she doesn’t. But on this day, in Paris, Victoria Beckham was amazing.
Wearing a leather trench like coat with a hat that was almost covering her entire face, Victoria was more Posh than ever. (remember when I told you I almost bought a hat the other day? It was exactly like this one, only in chocolate!) If there’s no external stylist or adviser responsible for this, then I have to give it to Victoria: she’s my new detective inspiration! If they won’t have her for the next Pink Panther movie, I’ll be very, very sad! What say you? You’re your vote right after the first image! (photos via)
