Happy Hump Day! Rock-A-Bye Edition
January 6th, 2010 by kpriss
There’s no lullaby better than a viral rock-a-bye! Take my word for it, this is how the new generation goes (special note to the uber trendy skull and bones pacifier)! (If I didn’t know better, judging by the blankie and the musical tastes, I’d say it was my baby girl enjoying a bit of Metallica evergreens!)
Rock it baby, yeah! Happy Hump Day everyone!
Tiger Woods For Vanity Fair February 2010
January 5th, 2010 by kpriss
You have to adore the irony of this Vanity Fair February 2010 cover: Tiger Woods? Also, you have to agree that in times of crisis, drastic measures are the new routine.
Tiger needed to smooth out his heavily tarnished image and reputation. What’s buying out the cover story of Vanity Fair (bonus a photo session with Annie Leibovitz, herself in a heavy financial embarrass – even if the photos are said to have been taken in 2006) for Tiger Woods, he whose multimillion commercial endorsements vanished like washed-away sand castles? (the story continues right after the jump!)

SpongeBob Anniversary Helmets
January 5th, 2010 by kpriss
Anyone cares to inform Mr. Marc Jacobs, SpongeBob fan extraordinaire? There’s a limited edition Sponge Bob Helmets out on the loose!
Given that only 200 pieces were produced and that each is priced at $1,200, I think it will be no trouble at all if Marc Jacobs would get a hold on each and every one of them! For the interested, the 10-year anniversary helmets with Phen Hillenburg’s SpongeBob Squarepants are available chez Ruby (if the $1,200 is not your game, you can consider a SpongeBob Bandit available for just $180, toujours chez Ruby! – see the scarf and more right after the jump!). Am I going against the trends if I really, really don’t like SpongeBob Squarepants? (Ruby via BoJ)

Miley Cyrus Does Harper’s Bazaar February 2010
January 5th, 2010 by kpriss
If you thought the Emma Watson Summer 2010 Burberry controversy was pretty harsh to begin the year with, then get ready for Miley Cyrus on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar, February 2010!
Haven’t seen that one coming, really! But there she is, looking all airbrushed and very Miley… It was an interesting job for the Photo retouching dep – while everyone was photoshopped into a younger appearance. Miley’s airbrushing added years to her face. I know she’s relevant for the young population, but still, Miley Cyrus on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar? (photo via)

iPod Touch Bed Set For The iPod Fan
January 5th, 2010 by kpriss
Are you an Apple fan? Then you’ll love the iPod bed set! It’s an egocentric affair, same as the iPod – it’s a single bed duvet with a single pillowcase.
I wonder how long till they’ll actually make it function (add an iPod somewhere in the pillowcase, in a special compartment)! Even with the Calendar misspelling, this iPod touch bed set still feels a hundred times more appealing than any Twilight bedroom doing! (Ellos via tDW)

Jennifer Hawkins Without Makeup And Photoshop For Marie Claire February 2010
January 5th, 2010 by kpriss
Every magazine seems to be working on a weight issue these first months of the new year. Take for instance the Australian edition of Marie Claire. Would you have given it any real thought if there wasn’t for this incredibly beautiful cover with Miss Universe 2004, Jennifer Hawkins?
I respectfully admit I most certainly wouldn’t have! Jennifer Hawkins bares it all for Marie Claire February 2010! Wearing only makeup, she makes the no-Photoshop statement of this year’s debut! (the story continues right after the jump)

Ray Ban Leather Aviators
January 4th, 2010 by kpriss
There’s no mistake whatsoever! The new Craft Collection from Ray-Ban comes with genuine leather details (stitched by hand in Italy) hence the name.
The 2010 Ray-Ban Aviators shades are now called the Outdoorsman; with Crystal polarized lenses, shiny metal frames and brown leather, the new Ray-Bans sunglasses have a brown deer leather case. Everything packed and ready to be yours for $216 (or $171 for the Caravan Leather). Does the leather detailing help the classic Aviators? (Eyegoodies)
How To Have A Successful Year!
January 4th, 2010 by kpriss
With every New Year, there’s a new resolution to stick to. But what if you had ten? Ten 2010 resolutions for a better you? Ahem.. a Tiger you?
I’m not one to fall easily for this kind of mantras. However, I went through the following viral video and there’s no harm there. Au contraire! Give this video three minutes of your precious time. The year is young, so are you! And you deserve a wonderful life!
