Heidi Klum’s April 2010 Allure
March 18th, 2010 by kpriss
How do you know April’s right around the corner? Because flowers start popping up in your backyard? Nooooo! Because shape issues start filling up your regular magazines stand!
You may not remember last year’s Allure. However, I’m right here to give you a hint: there was a celebrity on the cover, a singing one. A country singing one (Taylor Swift). Well, to make it round, this year it’s Carrie Underwood on the cover of Allure, April 2010. Wait, there’s more! And there’s Heidi Klum covering the shape issue inside! Paul Smith Homeware Collections For Stelton
March 18th, 2010 by kpriss
I’m a sucker for everything Paul Smith! Have I told you that already? Not? Well, it’s never too late! I love those happy, stripey prints! Colorful and joyful, you can’t beat it!
If you’re an admirer of Paul Smith’s work, you’ll be delighted to find out that he’s expanding his colorful reign into homeware. Working with Stelton, they have developed three collections: AddColour, Dot and Statement. If the first is about tea and coffee, the second is about bowls, the third is a series a bar accessories (with less color but more written messages). Though I like my kitchen more on a country side, I wouldn’t mind a fair share of Paul Smith color to it, would you? (I’d put it in the same drawer as Alessi, so they won’t feel alone) (DM via FWD)
Kristen Stewart For Eva Magazine April 2010
March 17th, 2010 by kpriss
I know the title is a huge spoiler, nevertheless, who would’ve recognized wax-faced, one-expression-only Kristen Stewart in this cover photo?
I wouldn’t have! She reminds me of.. Winona? I think…No prune, no lost, misunderstood teen look? Sure, her face doesn’t express much, however, as far as the makeup goes, she’s pretty surprising! Though it’s not a high profile magazine, the Slovakian editors from Eva Magazine could have just as well received a set of photographs from Kristen Stewart’s publicists. So what do you think? An European stylist with a vision or just a photos set ready made for the press? (via)

Ride In Style With The BMW M Bike!
March 17th, 2010 by kpriss
I’ve covered so many two-wheeled wonders here that a BMW wouldn’t be such a shock, would it? What if I told that the BMW bike I’m talking about is an M?
Because the four wheels universe was already mastered and they didn’t know what to do with that much know-how and technology discipline, the guys from BMW invented a 12,9 kilos (28,38 lbs) aluminum bike ready to rock your world. There’s not much about the price, however, which is a pretty interesting detail when it comes to powerful gadgets like this! I wonder if a BMW bike would convince more people to be eco-conscious thank a classic bike label… (via)
Gisele Bundchen’s Vogue US April 2010
March 17th, 2010 by kpriss
Curious about what Anna comes up with for Vogue’s next cover, I discovered, much to my surprise, that it was a model! And that’s a noble, yet rare thing to do, Anna!
However, there’s still to debate whether Gisele falls into the models category or is she just being transplanted to the “starland”! Why? All you have to do is read fragments of the web article to see the dream life she’s leading with a perfectly fit athlete and her perfectly harmonious spirit. Gisele Bundchen covers (and so much more) Vogue US April 2010! (the story continues right after the jump with more images! Click here for the gallery!)

Haute Couture Skateboards
March 16th, 2010 by kpriss
If you’re a fan of Haute Couture, then everything haute, including sports related gears, would seem appropriate for you to own! Actually using the haute objects is beyond purpose.
Kirk Henry’s skateboard design brings well known elements from established haute houses. Whether that will come to life (or in that particular shape) only time will show us. For now, I’m just enjoying the view and the oh-so-useful philosophy of getting everything Haute Couture can (or could) deliver. I promise to quietly go sip my drink from a silver straw if they make that Prada blossom skateboard! I won’t mind it’s last season! Oh-no!(via)
Madonna, The Material Girl Collection And The M D & G Sunglasses
March 15th, 2010 by kpriss
Waking up this morning after a good Sunday break (I hope you all enjoyed one!) I was expecting a sunny Monday on the fashinternet. Something to make me smile and carry on my stylish ramblings and my whatnots thinkings towards you.
Instead, I discovered that what you ignore today, may hit you twice as hard tomorrow! Last week, I found out, like many of you, that Madonna had inked a design deal with MG Icon group (owner of Ed Hardy, amongst others) for a children collection! The name is Material Girl and it will be available in Macy’s stores in time for back to school season, with prices raging from $12 to $40! (don’t miss the rest for the story, right after the jump!)

Claudia Schiffer, Vanessa Paradis, Bar Refaeli, Claire Danes Do Vs. Spring Summer 2010
March 13th, 2010 by kpriss
Today I’m premiering the Spring Summer 2010 issue of Vs. Magazine. You might remember it from previous issues, when I was trying to convince you they’re really something else in the fashion magazines landscape.
This time, however, I won’t try to convince you about anything, the following stands by itself to prove that Vs. is, with any doubt, not your average magazine. And their upcoming issue, with Claudia Schiffer, Vanessa Paradis, Bar Refaeli and Claire Danes is set to amaze your aesthetics. (don’t miss the rest of the story and the images right after the jump!
