Gisele Bundchen In Alexander Wang Dress At Met Gala 2010

Though everyone (and their respective dogs) was waiting for Gisele Bundchen to show up wearing Versace for this 2010 edition of the Metropolitan Museum Of Art Benefit Gala, Gisele went for something else. Completely anti-Versace.

If the rumors are true, then she’s wearing Alexander Wang. Which is not that bad. It’s bad on her, but that’s another story. She’s just taking that wild amazon thing too serious and she’s covering too much of her flawless body. And I’m not missing the nightgown-ish Versace she had on in 2008, maybe a bit the blue electric Versace from 2009. I’m just saying she could have done better for the Met Gala 2010. What do you say? Sarah Jessica Parker In Halston Heritage Dress At Met Gala 2010

After Mila Kunis, there goes Sarah Jessica Parker gracing the Red Carpet at the Met Gala 2010. And despite anything and everything I’ve said in the past, I’m going down in awe this time!

Sarah Jessica Parker’s Halston dress is flawless. Absolutely gorgeous on her. Perfect match, perfect accessories, perfect attitude. Well done SJP (you can see more images right after the jump or simply click here for the gallery)! I’m uncertain whether this is supposed to be a shameless self-promotion gesture or just love for fashion, though I’m inclined to believe it’s a bit of both (SJP holds a creative position at Halston Heritage) I can’t help but admiring Sarah Jessica Parker’s Red Carpet show tonight. Are you with me? (photos via)

Mila Kunis In Vera Wang Dress At Met Gala 2010

What seemed to be an eternity away is finally now upon us: the Metropolitan Museum of Art Benefit Gala 2010. Already controversial in more ways than one (count Oprah as host of the event, personally chosen by Anna Wintour herself), the Met Gala 2010 is officially on a roll.

I’ll start the Met Gala Red Carpet with a recent personal of mine: Mila Kunis. Have you seen the girl acting alongside Denzel Washington (in The Book of Eli)? No? There’s something there… And there’s something else here: Mila Kunis is wearing a princess-ish grey tulle gown by Vera Wang. Who can argue with that beauty? (photos via)

Helena Christensen Bares All For Reebok’s EasyTone Trainers

I told you there was a no-textile wave sweeping the fashion shores! Here’s Helena Christensen working hard for the cause: Reebok EasyTone Trainers got her on board to show us just how Reebok trainers can make us look like (yeah, sure).

And what better way to convince us that a 41-year-old supermodel taking all her clothes off and only keeping her Reebok EasyTones? I sometimes feel angry at what the advertisers are trying to feed us with! However, it seems the EasyTones were designed by an ex-NASA engineer (notorious for spending their life in the gym, right?) and they seem to really be working! (I’ll hold my thoughts for when I’ll be actually trying the trainers, walking the city up and down – talking about urban walks – have you noticed how your trusted Converse will actually bring you pain in long walks? Or is it just me?) (don’t miss the video right after the jump!) (via)

Dare To Wear De La Rue Shoes Spring Summer 2010!

I was actually looking for a new shape of flat sandal that could steal my heart and put it where my feet are! I was usually the Gap type (and I still am but changing shoes never hurt anyone, if they’re comfy) and loved anything with a strap between my toes. Until now!

These beauties found their way to my Inbox before I found them! De La Rue Shoes were made by Leticia Calvo Treffot in her quest to make fashion while being ecoconscious. And by the looks of these shoes, she really nailed it! De la Rue Shoes come with a simple line, a joyful look and a conquering simplicity for the Spring Summer 2010 season! (the story continues with more images right after the jump!)

Scarlett Johansson’s Dolce & Gabbana Makeup Campaign 2010

Dolce & Gabbana goes old glamour. We’ve seen it happening in the Madonna campaign (well, kind of, since we’ve only seen stills from the set so far) and now here they go at it again with Scarlett Johansson’s Makeup campaign. And I’m loving it!

Old Hollywood Glamour, conventionally referring to Hollywood, has such a feminine touch to it, it feels just right. There’s no techno wave altering the mystery of a woman, there’s no pop kingdom scepter to claim, lovely! (in fact, every time I find something not polluted by Gaga, I finally breathe!) Too bad it always has to be about blondes! Can’t you do something for dark haired ladies, too? I’m sure you’ll be able to convince Scarlett Johansson to change her hair color for one Dolce & Gabbana shooting! And it would be such a statement: brunettes and redheads have fun too, you know? (don’t miss the video right after the jump!) (via)

Angela Lindvall Covers Vogue UK June 2010

The hopes we’re putting in a model cover (especially when Vogue covers involved) and the disappointment we end up getting fed with! I wonder if it’s made in purpose to have us feel contempt and disgust for model covers since they’re so glamourless and tacky!

Nevertheless, here’s Vogue UK’s June 2010 issue with Angela Lindvall on the cover. Don’t tell me it’s supposed to make us think about sunny beaches and cooling waves! All I can think of when looking at Angela Lindvall’s Vogue cover is that someone over at Vogue was really uninspired the day they went for this cover! Feeling very 90s and uninspired! Why else would they have published this photo as cover shot? (photo via)
