I’m always stunned by Cate Blanchett’s flawless appearance (and more). She seems to have a class of her own, unclassifiable, and that’s such a rare thing nowadays (especially on the Red Carpet).
Gracing June’s 2010 issue of W Magazine, Cate Blanchett looks as amazing as ever, theatrically perfect and humanly breathtaking. Did you know her three boys haven’t already dried her enthusiasm and she’s not dismissing the thought of having another child? That’s “demented”, to put it in her own words! (yes, I know that with all the help she can get to raise the kids it’s far easier; then again with all the time she spends on the road it tends to get tricky). Assuming there’s still someone out there (who has been living under a rock and) who still doesn’t know that Vera Wang is the fairy tale name most of the young girls getting ready to marry whisper when thinking about their ideal wedding gown, I made this – short – intro just to warn you that Vera Wang’s Bridal collections are the crème of all bridal collections.
She’s been celebrating her legendary label with an exhibition and Bloomingdale’s: Vera Wang, 20 years, 11 dresses. No, that’s not the title of a new movie. It’s a wedding gowns exhibition! There’s been a new wave of baby bumps around… Paparazzi flashes keep on searching and we can’t do more than speculating since there haven’t been official reports to either confirm or dissolve the rumors.

Karen Elson’s Foam Magazine July 2010

The first July issue we’ll be covering is Foam Magazine‘s. It’s technically a June-July 2010 issue in Foam (that stands for Fashion Ocean Art Music) editions. That’s not the point – even though I’m amazed how the weeks go by and we’re already talking about bikini and beach bodies while it seems only yesterday we talked about the neverending winter – the point is Foam’s cover editorial! Karen Elson!

Suri Is Tom Cruise’s Stylist

If something goes wrong in Tom Cruise’s wardrobe, it’s Suri who has to take responsibility! It has recently been revealed that little Suri Cruise (need I remind you she’s only 4-yo?) is the style dictator of the Cruise household!
With mama Katie having such dubious taste in fashion (and so much more), I’m happy there’s someone with a fresh perspective in the TomKat family! And given that, I hope there won’t be a day when Suri decides daddy should wear a pink tutu to promote his next flick… (via, photo via)
Gisele Bundchen Remains World’s Number One Model

I was way off being at peace with Vogue’s Gisele Bundchen feature, you know, the one highlighting her motherhood skills and body recovery après bébé. If I knew that Forbes will place Gisele (again) at the first position of the Top-Earning Models classification, my questions will have all been answered.
With earnings estimated at $25 million (per year!), her palace of a home feels as a natural progression. The second place is held by another 2009 mom – Heidi Klum ($16 million). Kate Moss comes on third ($9 million). Angels galore: Adriana Lima is the 4th ($7,5 million), Doutzen Kroes the 5th ($6 million), Alessandra Ambrosio is the 6th ($5,5 million). Natalia Vodianova only made it to the 7th position ($5,5 million) while Daria Werbowy was ranked the 8th ($4,5 million). 9th and 10th respectively are: Miranda Kerr ($4 million) and Carolyn Murphy ($3,5 million). I was really getting used to seeing the bedding collections as something only supermodels could do. Now I have to rewrite that in my head – Beyoncé joined the game. She and her mama have a bedding collection ready through Arrow Home Fashions, retailing from $49,99 to $99,99 and $149,99 to $199,99.
House of Deréon is ready to decorate your house with sheets and so much more! Though I was sincerely waiting for something with spikes, metal studs and more precious details of the kind, I was pretty surprised to see how – dare I say – average? the new bedding collection from Bee’s Deréon looks like. Lady Gaga Has Sting’s Blessing

This is one image I would have never ever hoped, dreamed to see. I’m not a huge fan of Sting. He has his musical moments, but I’m not 100% into it. However, the man is a (musical) legend.
Seeing him and Lady Gaga on the same stage, together, makes it odd enough without the forehead kiss to add absolute oddness. I just hope it was all for marketing. For the cause – the concert was dated May 13, 2010, Carnegie Hall – the Almay Concert to Celebrate the Rainforest Fund’s 21st Birthday. Gaga? On the same stage as Shirley Bassey? Elton John?
