I strongly suspect brand/labels adorers would order a room full of these sweets if the occasion presented itself. Chanel and Louis Vuitton lollipops?

Triggering our visual perception of brands, his logo lolli-Pops get to us in more ways than just the candy flavored one: are we ready to blindly digest anything a brand proposes us solely on label basis? Huggies found a new way to get under the customer’s skin and soften the (by now) immune shopping sensitivity. Denim Huggies? Who would’ve thought? (then again, who wouldn’t? it’s perfect, especially for hot summer days!)

Then again, regardless of how flawless and innovative, it wouldn’t mean anything without the proper advertising aggressively pushing forward the actual product. So there they went with JWT for a special video ad, slightly beyond the usual diapers commercials cliché. I know it’s only diapers, but it’s denim, baby, and I like it! (via)

Now where would we be without a Kristen Stewart magazine cover the very month Eclipse will be released in cinemas across the world? Kristen is doing the July 2010 issue of Elle UK. Grunge-y and misfit like she always looks, there’s something there, underneath that messy shell!

They made her look good, unlike her usual plastic expression – I guess she’s a challenge for every stylist out there. They must be all wondering how to get a new Kristen Stewart out of that same expression. The people at Elle did it! Twilight fans all over this universe and parallel ones too must be all ecstatic seeing her UK Elle shoot. Or maybe not – maybe they’re just looking for Bella and only we, twi-outsiders, we’re looking for something else, something that should comfort our aesthetics too. However, there’s something I’ve been meaning to ask you: you think Kristen Stewart is the new Emma Watson? (as today’s Twilighters are yesterday’s Harry Potters?) There are several reasons I’d name this my favorite desk ever (and also few major cons). Should I start with the obvious joy of having a sandbox in the privacy of your very own living room? Feeling the sand beneath your feet while you’re intensively brainstorming at your desk must be a wonderful feeling!

Isn’t it just summer-great? It brings the “surfing with he sand between my toes” to a new dimension! (I think it only works in a cat-dog-child-free environment, however – which should be the point of a workspace after all, right?) (surfing… via DbB)

Laetitia Casta was not a newcomer to musical videos appearances (remember Chris Isaak’s Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing?), however, seeing her in a Rihanna video was the least I would’ve expected from her.

And, to be honest, the only reason I watched Rihanna’s Te Amo 4 minutes long video. Spoil the fun and tell you all about it before seeing it yourself? That’s not me! Take a look and tell me what you think (besides the obvious – Laetitia looks great and she’s a model of versatility; as for Rihanna – she was engineered to be provocative). (via)

In other Lindsay Lohan related news, you may (or may not) know, but our adventurous Lilo has received a very special cuff to wear all day (and night) long: the Scram (that’s an ankle monitor worn by under house arrest individuals sending GPS signals to a receiver and alerting the police whenever it’s out of range).

The trouble with Scram is that it’s pretty obvious: you can’t miss that big black plastic thing hanging around the wearer’s ankle. So what did our beloved Lilo thought? That if she’s already wearing a Chanel tattoo, maybe she could receive some “stickers to put on my scram bracelet so that I can at least wear a chic dress?! Maybe!?”. Your luck didn’t ran out, Lindsay, this summer it’s all about maxi dresses and wide leg! Shouldn’t you ask for that, instead of messing around with your Scram? (which could actually end up pretty bad)

For those of you (the lucky ones, that is) who still feel the long weekend blessing, Peggy Lee’s Fever only comes as a natural way to carry on the great fun of this weekend’s celebrating. For those of you who’ll resume the hard knock week today, I saved the Friday Break for today. So you won’t feel jealous!
