Sometimes I keep getting back to one of my Adored Husband’s sayings: A picture is worth a thousand words. And then some.
And the perfect example for that group of images lies below. You know, in spite of what people may think (yes, Jaffa, I’m looking at you!), the internet is a wonderful, wonderful place, full of charming whatnots. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
The hero of this image is Allison Beale, a NY based fashion publicist, writer and founder of George Public Relations. Also – redheads don’t feel the cold and don’t get snowed on like the rest of us! Redheads just look impeccable in any weather and from any angle! (Downtownfrombehind via)

Do you think you can really survive this Christmas like a true fashionista? From what to wear to what to eat, Anna Dello Russo has a ten steps guide ready for you! You don’t need to think it through, no need to lose sleep over planning your Christmas fashion, all you need is to blindly follow Anna’s guide and you’re all set! Now get through those rules and tell me how they make you feel: (the photo was announced as representing the ad campaign for The Scent of Anna Dello Russo; photographed by Giampaolo Sgura)
(1). Don’t wear RED or GREEN outfits. You will look alike a Christmas tree. (2). Forget any COATS (also if outside it’s only 5 degrees). You should make a big impact just with your dress.
(3). Choose a GOLD. You will emphasize the idea to be a Christmas GIFT to unwrap. (4). Go to the hairdresser, facial, manicure and pedicure. Don’t be worry to be OVER-DONE! (click through to read the rest of Anna Dello Russo’s Christmas words of wisdom!)

You can’t expect exquisite Dame Vivienne to make something dull and plain! She teamed up with Melissa for those plastic-fantastic shoes once more, she enrolled Pamela Anderson for her Spring Summer 2009 ad campaign… what next?
She’s into home decoration now. Barney’s New York is the place to go if you want your very own Vivienne Westwood home details (no plastic involved). (the story continues right after the jump, with more pictures)

Another year, another collection signed Vivienne Westwood for Melissa, the Plastic Dreams company! (not kidding, that’s their slogan!)
Vivienne Westwood chose to fusion Anglomania with Melissa, thus giving us not one but four different popsy designs for the Black Line collection Spring Summer 2009 from Melissa. (the story continues right after the jump! Don’t miss the gallery with all Vivienne Westwood Anglomania shoes for Melissa Spring Summer 2009!)

With Haute Couture comes back my love of fashion and all things chic. I tend to forget about this Wonderland, territory of dreams and beauty.
I’ve so discovered something that falls in the same category as Haute Fashion – Haute Magazine. Vs. Vs. Magazine has that strong fashion and art aesthetic that lost territory in favor of trashy and cheap (à la Vivienne Westwood’s Pamela Anderson art).
Vs. Magazine has that high fashion, high professionalism taste you can hardly find anywhere on today’s fashion magazines’ menu plates. It’s the reason I fell in love with fashion and style and I’m so happy to enjoy and share with you my precious find!
I’m not one of the fashion snobs who discard gossip because it’s not artsy enough. I find inspiration in every piece of information and I treasure diversity in my Google Reader. Because that’s how I get inspired, that’s how I understand my time in my own (egoistic and selfcentered) rhythm. (don’t miss the pictures right after the jump!)

I know, I know, but it was so beautiful and crazy hilarious, I had to bring it on! For a special Halloween flavor!
Actually, this event happened last year, on Halloween night, precisely, at Cipriani’s, NY. Roberto Cavalli dressed up to the very ponytail like the Kaiser! I don’t know if that shall be done again this year, but it was a funny, great idea! Who should do who next? I propose Marc Jacobs as Dame Vivienne Westwood! (photo via ontdff)

Oh, if only they would get this idea and make it happen for good! Catwalk music available at your local store! It would be so perfectly fashionable!
Let’s all unite in the name of music and fashion to make them release fashion shows soundtracks! I bet it would sell better and faster than the actual runway clothes! Here Dame Vivienne Westwood breaking the ice with her music album! Exclusively launched at Selfridges, September 15, this album contains 16 tracks, all Vivienne Westwood’s favorites (reportedly costing around $50).
“My clothes always tell a story. It may refer to the past, but it’s always projected into this heroic future. And I choose the music accordingly. (…) Sometimes the music can just be sexy, it can let you relax, look at the clothes, put people into a fantastic mood. (…) These are some of the pieces that I’ve relied on over all these years – my classics. They’ve never failed me.”
Wouldn’t you buy albums with catwalk music?
