Heidi Klum’s Short Black Marchesa Dress For Emmys 2010 Red Carpet
August 30th, 2010 by kpriss
Now getting back to that Red Carpet and the 2010 Emmys: we couldn’t let Heidi Klum get by without noticing how gorgeous this fine lady looks! Alongside her husband, Seal, they were the picture of perfection and happiness on the 2010 edition of the Emmy Awards Red Carpet. (do I say this every time they attend an official Red Carpet event? well, there goes one more, then!)
Though we’re used to seeing flowy, romantic Marchesa dresses on the Red Carpet, a lbd number as worn by Heidi Klum is oh – so – beautiful and surprising. Also faithful to her Lorraine Schwartz jewelry (notice that she’s keeping it toned down to a single piece of jewelry – the necklace), Heidi sparkles even more than the bling she’s wearing. Can you believe she’s a mother of four, really? (photos via)

Anna Paquin’s Black Alexander McQueen Dress For Emmys 2010 Red Carpet
August 30th, 2010 by kpriss
Throughout the years I always share with you something really precious for my family: we don’t really own a TV. And we pride ourselves with that, actually! (and yes, we can perfectly live without). (yes, yes, I know, this is about Anna Paquin and her Alexander McQueen black dress for the 2010 edition of the Emmy Awards! stick with me, we’ll get there!)
That doesn’t mean we’re completely off beat and we don’t know what’s happening out there, in the TV world. We thought it was more fitted that way, for us, for the children. They get to watch great animation movies (yes, in case you’re wondering if my lil’ Pixar weakness has something to do with it: they’re almost all Disney/Pixar animation movies) and more and we get to catch up with big screen novelties every now and then. And yes, sometimes there’s this TV series bug itching us and forcing us into seeing a full season (sometimes two or three) of TV Series in a big, happy, one night sitting. It happened with Prison Break, Lost, Dexter and now it’s been going deep with Breaking Bad!

Alexander McQueen Puma AMQ Entwine Sneakers
August 27th, 2010 by kpriss
I just found my favorite pair of sneakers! Couture sneakers, not jut any kind of sneakers! I do have my weaknesses, you know? And Puma is one of them. Alexander McQueen was another.
Take the two together and picture the AMQ Entwine Sneakers! Better – take a look below and tell me what you think! Don’t they look just fabulous? Priceless, amazing pieces of leather couture at your feet to wear! I don’t even mind the white soles, forget that! I’ll only concentrate on the leather detailing and immerse myself in the purest form of admiration for couture! Care to join me? (oh, and if you’re interested, the AMQ Entwine Sneakers from Alexander McQueen and Puma are available for $204)
The New French Couture Manicure YSL Fall Winter 2010 Nail Polish Collection
August 27th, 2010 by kpriss
A while back I told you about my secrets to a perfect (French) Manicure. I’m sold to that and can’t have my nails wear anything else but a pale rose, the same I put on when I do my French. (well, if you must – it’s OPI – Hearts & Tarts).
I did tried some wild things on my nails, when I was experimenting with different styles. I even had flames – black flames on fire red nails. That was my wildest diy manicure (now if you look at what they’re now calling extreme manicures, my “wild experiment” sounds like a cherry pie). Now let me tell you a bit about the new nail polish from the Yves Saint Laurent Couture Manicure Collection! (hit the jump to find out more!)

Freida Pinto’s New York Times Style Magazine Fall Covergirl
August 26th, 2010 by kpriss
Do you think Freida Pinto will ever be freed from the Slumdog Millionaire picture? I think she’ll be forever bound to that scenario. I keep my fingers crossed for her to find another part that’ll help her transcend beyond the slum but Hollywood is an unforgiving place (critics recently blasted her Slumdog co – star and real life partner , Dev Patel for his Airbender performance). I’m really curious how her Woody Allen flick will be!
Outside of her acting career, Freida looks charming and sweet, something rare nowadays in the H hills. Doesn’t she always look like she’s elsewhere? Like she’s constantly thinking about something else, somewhere far, far away? (I think she spends most of her time living in London than elsewhere) (hit the jump to see the images and her video screen test) (via)

Crystal Renn’s Quick Exercise Routine
August 26th, 2010 by kpriss
Joking. Nah, she won’t get all Pilates on you! However, if this is how the girl got her almost skinny shape back, chapeau! She really moves there!
And it’s all in the name of fashion, bien sur! 24 seconds of highly concentrated dancing action with Crystal Renn (for The Block, a Canadian fashion magazine who did a pictorial with her for one of their upcoming issues). Let’s see: what do fashmodels do when they want to exercise? Ping pong, dancing… What’s next? (via)
L’Wren Scott For Lancome Holiday Makeup Collection
August 26th, 2010 by kpriss
Let’s pretend for a moment I’m no Lancome fan. Which you know better by now. I know it’s a bit like celebrating Christmas on some Ibiza beach (have you?) – let’s say I don’t appreciate this L’Wren Scott for Lancome Collection just because it’s Lancome! Now let’s focus on the colors:
That Bordeaux lipstick – wouldn’t you want it? And that gray nail polish? Neither? How about that eyes makeup palette with night – dark gray, two more shades of gray and white? It doesn’t work like magic on you? No? well, good for me, then! I’ll have more chances to find this gorgeous L’Wren Scott for Lancome collection and have it all just for me! Just imagine – once you’ve made your choice from the collection, as a purchase gift there will be a feather rose brooch and a black sparkling envelope clutch, as designed by L’Wren Scott. Lucky, lucky me! Still haven’t changed your mind? (wwd via stylelist)
