Perfect Christmas Gift, iPhone Style

Since I was talking about angels earlier, I instantly thought about this little piece of charming gadget I had in mind for the iPhone users on my gift list. It’s a lovely pair of wings. In fact, it’s the name of the gadget also: “On Angels’ Wings”.

It works for almost any type of smart phone, not just the iPhone, and also for mp3 players. Sure, if it was up to me, I would love to get a pair of wings attached to an iPhone 4, but that’s just me. Don’t you find these wee wings completely adorable? (available here)

It’s past that Halloween time of the year and even this would make the perfect costume for our fashion craving souls, it comes as a suggestion for next year’s Halloween or, why not, for any costume party you may have entre temps.

I’m bound to Christmas Angels and Santa costumes for this time of the year (preparing the Christmas festivities for the children) so maybe a white quilted Chanel bag would be more suited? Or a Christmas – red one? I’d love my Christmas tree baubles with a double interlocked C. Plus a LV here and there. Either way, it’s a mighty fashionable costume, wouldn’t you agree? (photo via)

So what’s really wrong with Beyonce’s Heat Perfume ad campaign? As wrong as to ban it from daylight television in the UK? I mean, we’ve seen music videos more provocative than that. And that was the 90s!

Beyonce is a strategically calculated brand that sells everywhere in the world, there’s no doubt about it. More so – she was never involved in any intimacy revealing / hurting scandal. She’s a married woman, on top of her game, a hard working, talented, flawless woman! How can anyone think that she would mean something bad with this ad? So what’s wrong with Beyonce’s Heat? (via)

Whenever I finally think I got how the marketing and the economy work together, something new comes along, something that turns my newly found confidence upside down.

Today’s upside down episode is brought to me by Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. And not because they’re looking lovely and incredibly charismatic together! No! It’s because they have a lucrative deal with Kohl’s for two, simultaneously conducted, fashion lines! Now correct me if I’m wrong: Jennifer Lopez used to have this fashion label of hers, right? Called Sweetface, JLo? Or something street-sugary similar? And her line was dissolved due to low public appreciation (that’s the diplomatic for “nobody was buying her products”). How come Kohl’s is willing to take such marketing (polite for financial) risks as to sell not one but two complete fashion lines by Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony? (via; photo via)

As you may know, today marks a special anniversary in our family – our baby boy is one month old! How time flies! I can’t believe I can actually look down and see my toes right now! Anyways, because it’s such a special day (for us), I thought I’d make a bit of a motherhood-ish break today!

Have you heard about Rachel Zoe being pregnant? It appears that after long denying the rumors, even Rachel herself came to admit (on Twitter, biensur) that she’s with bébé!

And if you’re curious to know how pregnant Rachel Zoe looks, well… She looks just like her usual over skinny self, only with a slight, barely visible bump. And she’s said to be five months along! (I know you were missing some good ol’ baby bump hunting!) As visible as that bump is her botox-ed face. No official statement about that, though! (photos via)

Miranda Kerr’s NY apartment is currently for sale, but it doesn’t hurt seeing and knowing how a supermodel lives, does it? Miranda Kerr‘s place is all white with brown / black accents.

What I loved the most was the black mirrored glass bathroom walls. Noticed anything strange in the bathroom picture? That the shower wall looked inside the living room? That’s a glass wall. Pretty interesting décor thing, wouldn’t you agree? I don’t know if I’d feel comfortable taking a shower in there (and also – I wonder if the wall becomes transparent from the living room when the lights are on in the bathroom?). Would you? (via)
