Chanel Riva Nail Polish, Summer 2011 Nails It
December 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
We’ve been down the nails trends road the days before with the Nicole by OPI Heavy Metals collection. Now I’m stepping up the game with a couture-ish Chanel: Chanel RIVA Nail Lacquer (part of the Chanel Côte d’Azur Makeup Collection.
It’s a minty – sky blue shade that’ll cost you $27 and you’ll apparently be one of the trendiest around since this nail lacquer was originally presented with the Chanel Cruise Collection and caught the heart of every fashionista out there. It’s a metallic shade (not in the liquid metallic genre, just the classic metallic shimmer) and looks pretty cooling, suited for hot summer days, wouldn’t you say? (Chanel via)
Harry Potter Doggy Style
December 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
I’d like to start today with an adorable literary moment. Sure, I know some of you will argue at going so extreme and calling Harry Potter literature, however, it’s not Dan Brown and kids love it. So it’s literature enough (at least for the kids).
Breaking away from the controversy of dignifying Harry Potter as literature, the dog portrayed below really brightens up my day! And I so wish it’ll brighten up yours too! Happy Hump (after) Day! (photo via)
Reebok Easy Tone Reetone Ad Campaign
November 30th, 2010 by kpriss
I have a teeny tiny confession to make: I always have a special place in my New Year resolutions list for sports! Always! Do I get to actually do it? Nah! Howeverrr, one of the advantages of having four children under seven is that you don’t really need sports to keep that bootie in shape. They kick the living shape out of you, that’s how fit you become after running around the house with and after them!
Now getting back to the Reebok EasyTone, RunTone and Trainton Reetone campaign – do you believe that’s real? I mean – does it really Reetone you without doing more than your usual jogging routine? I find it so hard to believe, yet the new technologies may be ahead of my disbelief. Have you tried any of the new Reeboks? (photos via)
Liquid Metals Nail Polish, The New It Nail Polish
November 30th, 2010 by kpriss
Have I already told you I’m an OPI girl? Well, I am! I’m an OPI girl through and through! Sure, I’m an old fashioned French manicure adept, but I like to keep an eye on the new nail polish trends also!
It so happens that I noticed the new Liquid Metals nail polish! And it looks like the next big thing in manicure, so it was only natural that O.P.I. joins the liquid parade. Nicole by OPI’s January 2011 Heavy Metals nail lacquers collection will surely wash that red Christmas madness off our fingernails! Funny thing is, though I’m completely and absolutely sold to OPI’s French Manicure pinks, I admit these new Metals look so good, I’d love to try them on. All of them. Which one would you like to try? Valentino For Gap Bow Top
November 30th, 2010 by kpriss
I’m sure you’ll say this only comes to confirms and strengthen my bow madness but trust me when I tell you it’s far from it! It’s actually a coincidence that I found this Valentino For Gap gray bow Top just a day after I introduced you to the Bow fingerless Gloves!
You do believe me, don’t you? Either way, this is, by far, the most presentable item of the Valentino for Gap limited collection. It was available (it’s already sold out! and it only went online yesterday!) for $92 chez Colette. I’m sure that we could find some way to turn it into a diy project! Who’s with me on the Valentino Gap bow project?
How To Patch Your Moth Eaten Sweaters
November 30th, 2010 by kpriss
What season are we in right now? Yeah, I know, the Holiday season! That too, but what else? Here, I’ll tell you: it’s cashmere season! Didn’t you know?
Don’t you just love the feeling of wearing a good cashmere piece? Are you willing to share your favorite cashmere cardi with the moths? I’m not! I want to be the only one enjoying the joys of cashmere and I would take great pleasure in ruining a good cashmere meal for those moths!
So I’m guessing Eva Kisevalter, the DJ turned designer behind Stella Neptune felt quite the same thing. So she made some pretty fancy appliqués for us to patch our lovely cashmere pieces! There’s no sewing involved so the patches will be good for you even if you’re not the magic sewing fairy or you simply discovered your moth hole right now and you’re on the run. They come in various shapes and patterns: moths, leaves, band aids. All you need is a hot iron and bam! The nasty hole is gone, gone, gone! Aren’t they lovely? (Stella Neptune)

Gaga’s Christmas Present – Givenchy Mask Spring Summer 2011
November 30th, 2010 by kpriss
Even if Gaga has fallen out of sight for a while (it’s said that she’s preparing the best album of the decade – modest much?), all I can think of when I look at this Givenchy Mask is her Gaganess. It’s all her!
It’s actually from the Spring Summer 2011 Collection for Men, but I highly doubt that’s going to hold Gaga from wearing this any time soon. It’s Geevenchee after all! I’m sure she can come up with an entire video around this creepy mask. If only she would be the living image of the weird shell she’s trying to project out there! Because you see, in terms of marketing, I’m more willing to admire and applaud a project like Kenmore’s rather than Gaga’s scene turbulences! (via)
New Converse By Sneakersnstuff
November 30th, 2010 by kpriss
You thought I’d miss a good Converse collaboration? No way! However, I have to warn you Converse fans out there that this particular pair doesn’t suit cats owners.
They do, however, look particularly fit for winter days. Wool-ish and cozy, looking like they were knitted by your favorite memaw, the new Converse Chuck Taylor High by Sneakersnstuff (called Lovikka All Star) will be available next week. Just take care of those cats, I’m sure they’ll be having lots of fun with your new Converse! (hit the jump for more images and a short video) (sns via)
