Suri Cruise Loves Ugg Boots and Starbucks

Oh, Mothers out there forgive me for I have sinned! There’s been so long since my last Suri Cruise rant! I will fix this right now! Let’s hold hands and lift our spirits in prayer while we look at little Suri Cruise walking around downtown Vancouver out for a cup of Starbucks. Just like any one of us would.

Except Suri is not like one of us. oh, no! Suri is dressed in pink like an adorable little princess she is, only she’s wearing a coat, a dress and UGG boots. And that’s it, folks! That’s all there is! (mkay, so maybe there’s some underwear somewhere too, but we’re talking about what’s right in front of us) Snow. Bare legged Suri. Snow – Bare legged Suri.

I don’t understand why the snow hasn’t melted and the tropical sun isn’t already upon little majestic Suri! What’s wrong with this picture?

Prada Real Fantasies. The Short Psychedelic Film

There’s a new fashion short film in town! You must see it! No, it’s not that good. None of them is. But it’s the new film in town and it’s a Prada one. Everybody will see it. You must not fall behind!

Real Fantasies from Prada was directed by James Lima, produced by Max Brun with original art work from Rem Koolhaas, Alexander Reichert and Fausto Fantinuoli edited by Brian Durkin and animated by CBSD under the supervision of Craig Weiss.

Also: don’t take your common sense logic under consideration while judging the artistic premises of this short movie. Take only the fashion reality as main coordinate and then jump freely without a cerebral parachute into the abyss of creativity. Wherever that make take you! (via)

Anja Rubik For Vogue Australia April 2011

So that’s the Vogue she was going to cover? Back in the early days of the year, when the news of her engagement was all over the internet, Anja mentioned a Vogue cover photo shooting she was off to! So there it goes, finally, it’s Vogue Australia April 2011.

Anja Rubik looks gorgeous. Comme d’habitude. If anything, I just wish they give her more covers, she’s a beautiful woman and a great model (and yes, if possible, make her smile more?) I mean look at those legs! To infinity and beyond!

Photographer: Marcin Tyszka. Stylist: Naomi Smith. Also – does this 70s thing catches up with you and your wardrobe? I’m having a hard time letting the Farah Fawcett hairdo in my life! (Vogue Australia via)

John Galliano, The Evil

Under a week ago I was still living with abundant insouciance, worrying only about the next Fashion Week show and the immediate happening of the Oscars Red Carpet. Now I have John Galliano to worry about. Him and his irresponsibly alcoholic rants, resulting in an impossible to ignore strange cascade of offensive declarations.

While watching the video and seeing no beginning but only the end, Galliano‘s end, I must admit I felt just as out of context as the very video. But such is life and the words cast by Galliano during the amateur filming were largely enough to blame and paste a nasty label on the, up until there, savant designer.

I still feel there are still things to clear out about that night, only the public may not be that generous in time or motivations to wait and see the fog lift its deceiving veil from the dubious story. The only valid truth is that, from now on, the great John Galliano will enter a new stage of his theatrical life and, possibly, designing jailhouse dungarees (true, he’s taking it step by step and he’s trying his hand in a rehab facility first). Such is life. A Fashionable circus.

Saskia De Brauw Does Vogue Italia March 2011

Saskia’s time is right now. Not only she’s the highlight of Carine Roitfeld’s last Vogue Paris issue but she’s also covering Vogue Italy’s March 2011 issue.

Photographed by Steven Meisel and aiming for “Dazzling”, Saskia’s cover image is downright menacing. In all fashion courtesy, biensur. Truth being told, if I’d have to chose just one Saskia cover, I’d definitely go for this one. It’s less promiscuous and more fashdaring. What about you? which one is your favorite? Casual Style Must Maria Gregersen’s Cover Magazine March 2011

Today I came across an incredible outfit. Not in terms of pieces, but in terms of impeccably illustrating my style. Ladies and gents, here we have what Kpriss would wear if given the chance and opportunity (plus I’m such a camera shy person, I could never get before the camera for a personal style showdown).

Photographer: Rasmus Skousen; stylist: Emelie Johansson, the Cover Magazine March 2011 with Maria Gregersen on the cover is inspiration board material for me! Could you please help me out with the outfit? Let’s identify those pieces! It all looks so simple, affordable and effective! (Cover via)

The New Hippie Style

Growing up, the hippies were labeled with an entirely different aesthetic than what I’m trying to cope with right now as being hippie. All natural and as close to earth as possible, that was, I think, my rendition of a hippie (fashion) way.

Now with all things street style, I’m trying to squeeze in the new version of hippie. The modern hippie, it seems has little to do with the old age, original hippies. Except for the florals and bright colors, maybe. However, it’s nice to know that there’s a name for this kind of salad outfit! (that doesn’t stop you from casting your vote right after the image!)

Also – just curious, what are those big earlobe holes good for? Always wanted to know so thank you, in advance, for helping me out in my ear – quest! (photo Style Scout)

Megan Fox Is Giorgio Armani’s Code Woman

I missed Megan’s pouty, glam-like attitude at the Oscars this year. I wish she should’ve been there strutting her Armani dress for the entire world to see just how beautiful she is and inspiring more teens into tattooing their skin.

However, days away from the ceremony, Megan Fox blows my mind in a new ad campaign for Giorgio Armani Code Woman. Yes, underneath that wig lies Megan. And as we speak, somewhere atop the city, in a glass and iron villa, some beautiful, dark haired woman with bright red lips looks away in disappointment while a handsome young man, with no clothes whatsoever, stands tall before her. What gives, what gives? (via)
