Candice Swanepoel’s Waist Is Out Of Control
April 6th, 2011 by kpriss
Usually we have the handy, hardworking Photoshop people taking care of that. But Candice Swanepoel decided to make it easier for them: she took the waist matter into her own hands and provided us with a sight we didn’t really need in the first place.
The lovely Candice swears, however, that it’s all natural and that she’s healthy and feeling great, even if her physical appearance screams different. Have it your way, Candice, but I pledge with the Victoria’s Secret people to keep you out of the swimsuits! And lingerie! Please put some clothes on and consider a modeling job with Ralph Lauren! He will greatly appreciate your new body!

April 6th, 2011 by kpriss
Is your wedding mood set? if not, please take a moment and adjust your wedding meter on the highest setting, there goes Tiffany & Co’s Wedding Ad Campaign for the Spring Summer 2011 Season! This is a season like no other since the Royal British wedding is on the way (this very month).
As for me you know I’m a sucker for everything bridal so excuse me while I pack on kleenex just to watch a TV commercial (with Robert Buckley and Louise Pedersen)! Awww! they’re so cuute! Let’s watch it again! I can’t take it no more, I’ll text my Adored Husband to tell him how much I love him and how I miss him and wish he’d finish whatever he has going in the garden and come back inside to show me his irresistible smile! Henry Roth’s Home
April 6th, 2011 by kpriss
Did you miss a good, inspiring designer home? I’m all for the cottage-y chic of a home, a cozy feeling I don’t get from every décor or house I find. Especially one owned by a designer.
Have you noticed, actually – designers are usually forward thinking persons, not easy to contain in a more classical pattern. But are they doing that because it’s de rigueur? Or because their artsy thinking and being doesn’t “feel” a more classical attitude towards living etc? Anyway, not that I got my curiosity out of the way, let’s get back to Henry Roth’s home.

Jersey Is The New Style
April 5th, 2011 by kpriss
I know we’re talking about all kinds of extraordinary things here. But a true fashionista must stay informed and this, my daaahlings, is priceless information in the style wars!
It seems that ever since the Jersey Shore madness, the Style Network has put on a new show on the market: Jerseylicious which deals with beauty salon catfights (among other fashionable things). Yes, fashion people, eat your fashionable hearts out! The fashion democracy is all about hairspray and tan lotions! Jersey People, the new Fashion People! (via, photo Jerseylicious)
Gorgeous Victoria’s Secret, The New Push Up Bra Commercial
April 5th, 2011 by kpriss
Remember we talked about his ad not long ago? Remember I was wondering how did Lindsay Ellingson manage to look so natural and act like there was nobody watching when, in fact, the room was filled with people (men for the most part)!
Well, the Michael Bay directed commercial for Victoria’s Secret new Gorgeous bra is out and you can take a look at it below, see what it’s like after you’ve had the chance to see the behind-the-scenes work. Well done Lindsay! You look incredible and the ad is as cinematic as it gets! (phew! Nothing was blown sky high in the air, no explosion, nobody had to run for cover! Thank you, Mr. Bay!) (via)
Carine Roitfeld, Chanel Stylist Extraordinaire
April 5th, 2011 by kpriss
While Emmanuelle Alt’s Vogue Paris issues are being held under unfriendly fire, Carine Roitfeld‘s freelance work takes her from New York to Paris and beyond!
After being contracted by Barneys New York, Carine led her stylist views to Chanel for their Fall Winter 2011 2012 Ad Campaign which involved Freja Beha Erichsen as photographed by Karl Lagerfeld. Next is the Anja Rubik Fendi campaign with Der infatiguable Kaiser and soon a film for the Chanel Cruise Collection. Somebody Stop Her! (via, photo via)
Jourdan Dunn Loves Karlie Kloss i-D Spring 2011
April 5th, 2011 by kpriss
What could be hotter than a gorgeous (young) woman with little clothes on and long hair smiling at the camera? Two gorgeous young women with amazing clothes (or none whatsoever), hiding behind their long hair (long live the extensions!) having fun with each other in front of the camera.
Innocently, biensur. Karlie Kloss and Jourdan Dunn are the highlight of a very interesting pictorial from i-D Spring 2011. Photographer: Kayt Jones. Stylist: Edward Enninful. Clothes: Prada and Louis Vuitton. Also: more of this and less of BB Lara Stone, please? (photos via)
Fashiontoast’s Rumi Neely Ralph Lauren’s Big Pony Perfume Ad Campaign
April 5th, 2011 by kpriss
I wish I could be positive about a fashfilm once and for all! But somehow, the fashpeople keep on being keen on their artistic perspective and their desire to make it like no other (logical) perspective.
Actually, Rumi Neely‘s Laws Of Seduction commercial is far from being hypnotic or surreal. It’s real. Way too, I must say. Something about it is off. And I’m guessing it’s not the Ralph Lauren Big Pony perfume for which she’s advertising in the first place. What would it be? (Fashiontoast via)
