Yves Saint Laurent Coloring Book. Mais Biensur!
April 20th, 2011 by kpriss
It’s your little one at the coloring age? You know what a true fashionista would do? Nooo, letting her / him doodle allover your fashion magazines won’t teach him fashion! Instead, a really fashionable, couture-ish coloring book might do just that!
So here I am, suggesting the latest fashionable coloring book available right now: Yves Saint Laurent Colouring book! Unpublished sketches from the master of couture, his personal inspiration catalogs with multiple personal references). How can you resist? (it seems Hermes is not the only one rooting for the fashionbeing of our little ones!) (you can buy the stylish book here) (you can buy the book here; via)

Vogue’s Alexander The Great. Long Live Lee McQueen!
April 20th, 2011 by kpriss
Nonsense rambling aside, Alexander McQueen was seriously celebrated by fashion magazines and if Kate Moss’ Harper’s Bazaar wasn’t what you would expect from your regular fashion pictorial, maybe Vogue US Alexander The Great feature would sooth your fashsoul!
From the models they used (Caroline Trentini, Coco Rocha, Karen Elson, Karlie Kloss, Raquel Zimmerman, Stella Tennant) to the museum – friendly settings and the time – stands – still feeling, Alexander is Great as remembered by Sarah Burton, photographed by Steven Meisel and styled by Grace Coddington. Sure, nothing can beat Daphne Guinness’ epic, but this is a great way to remember McQueen and his undoubted sartorial and theatrical genius, which feature you liked most? Harper’s or this one? Victoria’s Secret Dream Angels Show Off Their Wings
April 20th, 2011 by kpriss
Remember I was asking myself how could the Victoria’s Secret girls walk around in a room filled with men and filming crew wearing just their lingerie (and not just any lingerie but Victoria’s Secret lingerie!) and behaving all natural like there was nobody watching?
Well there I am again, asking the same question for Victoria’s Secret Dream Angels who were directed by Michael Bay and his team for a new commercial. Below the behind the scenes filming and right after the jump you have the actual spot and angels talking about themselves! Aren’t they true professionals besides being ridiculously gorgeous? (via)
Karl Lagerfeld’s New Perfume Paper Passion To Smell Like Books
April 19th, 2011 by kpriss
Books are so hot right now! Karl Lagerfeld, also known for owning an impressive library is ready to launch a perfume that smells like books! Though the smell isn’t without precedent (do you remember the perfume that smells like a library?), it still is interesting to see der Kaiser’s perspective on the matter.
This new book – like venture joins his already loudly manifested passion for books through owning a book store in Paris (7L, 7, rue de Lille) and planning to open one in New York too. Accompanied by a book, both carrying the same name, Paper Passion, Karl‘s upcoming perfume was developed in collaboration with Geza Schön and is not yet certain when it will hit stores. Would you give it a try? (via)

Natasha Poly Just Married Wearing White Givenchy Wedding Dress
April 19th, 2011 by kpriss
This truly is a matrimonial year for our beloved models! Starting off with Anja Rubik and news of her engagement and marriage with her boyfriend, Sasha Knezevic, here goes Natasha Poly who, only days ago, got married to her boyfriend, Peter Bakker, in St Tropez. Congrats to the happy couple!
Reportedly a businessman, Mr Peter Bakker, wedded his beloved in a three – day celebration at the Hotel Byblos, St Tropez. The bride was wearing a white, long sleeved Givenchy gown and the over 200 guests were entertained with a private concert by Leona Lewis. Have you seen the bride‘s bouquet? It looked like it was more of a corsage attached to her wrist, wouldn’t you say? (also check out the images after the jump – is she toasting with plain water? could be that Natasha is also pregnant?) Doutzen Kroes In Tiffany’s Next Ad Campaign
April 19th, 2011 by kpriss
Having a wee baby at home doesn’t stop the models from doing their work. Nothing, apparently, stands between them and fashion, not even a post baby body! We’ve seen it happening with Heidi and many more, so Doutzen Kroes is no exception to the working mom models rule (Doutzen gave birth to her baby boy in January this year)!
She was recently seen in the East Village, getting her Tiffany fix with photographer Peter Lindbergh. This won’t be the first time (and maybe not the last either) when Doutzen will do a Tiffany campaign. Less than a year ago, while in her first semester of pregnancy, Doutzen was wrapping her Tiffany ad campaign too. It’s an indoors story this time, and I’m so curious what’ll be like! Great seeing Doutzen back, anyway! (via)
Dare To Wear The Eclectic Recycled Neckpieces By V & Y?
April 19th, 2011 by kpriss
I was trying to come up with an attractive title, something that’ll draw you over but not too giving, more teasing than anything. I may have succeeded, you’ll tell me, but the truth is I really wanted you to discover the V & Y neckpieces. Scarves that double as necklaces. In a green attitude.
The layered neckpieces are actually made of upcycled t – shirts repurposed and injected into a new, highly fashionable existence. You can wear the neckpieces either as scarves, tighten up to keep you warm and pop out from you jacket or coat but also as necklaces, hanging out to anyone’s surprise and envy. (more after the jump!)
The New It Necklace: The Purse Necklace?
April 18th, 2011 by kpriss
If you followed the fashion week shows, you may remember a little ankle purse artifice as proposed by the fashbrilliant Karl Lagerfeld a while back. Der Kaiser proposed, the fashworld wasn’t at all impressed with the wee ankle purses. However, years back, the purse as a fashion accessory, other than her bag purpose is making a comeback. And this time it’s not the ankle, it’s the necklace purse that’s taking the spotlight.
It’s not the first time I stumbled upon this kind of unusual necklace so I decided it was time to bring it in for a discussion. We love our bags, we love our necklaces, but are we ready to mix the two in a single fashproduct? Like the one below as worn by Anna Castro?
