Sarah Jessica Parker’s New Hairdo. Should We Follow?
May 14th, 2011 by kpriss
Known for taking fashion chances and getting by with some style extravagancies, Sarah Jessica Parker has now premiered a new hairdo for the fashpassionate people out there.
The full 80s flavored bouffant do is most likely to do a petite’s justice rather than work on a tall figure and it doesn’t look that hard to reproduce at home. It’s your regular blow dry with a front bump (pardon my non – professional language, I’m a total broomstick when it comes to hairstyling – hence I’m a complete hair accessories addict – it makes any bad hair day go away with a bow and a smile).
Other than that, though she was wearing a mighty bold cobalt blue, the dress was plain enough to allow SJP to keep the highlight on her bouffant hairdo. (similarly hairdressed was Cheryl Cole just the other day) Is this a trends? The new hairdo is the bouffant? (because I can tell you right now, Imma fall back on that one! Not for me, nope, not!) Theodora & Callum Scarves. Julia Roberts And Oprah Love Them
May 13th, 2011 by kpriss
The new it scarf is from Theodora & Callum. Which doesn’t change much for our usual Hermes scarves loving dreamy fashionistas: Theodora & Callum scarves range from $48 to $298. Plus with the latest celebrity craze, they’ll be flying off of the shelves, so you better get ready for the waiting list!
Seriously, the brand’s creativity is universally appealing since they base their inspiration on their travels. Stefani Greenfield and Desiree Gruber, the power duo behind Theodora & Callum are no strangers to success, Stefani being a Co Fonder of the Scoop NYC stores and makes regular TV appearances other than working with her fashion and entertainment consulting company; Desiree is the Co Creator and Executive Producer of the Project Runway series, among other things, so it’s no wonder that the Theodora & Callum brand is now a celebrity favorite.
However, the accessories – focused label has now entered a new level of popularity, having been featured on Oprah’s show. I’m a scarf lover myself so I don’t mind seeing the versatile fashpiece increasing in popularity. How about you? Do you still wear scarves? Do you prefer the mono colored or heavily printed ones? Diane Kruger’s Golden Calvin Klein Dress, Cannes 2011
May 13th, 2011 by kpriss
So that’s why Diane Kruger wasn’t at the Chanel defile? Because she’s a Calvin Klein girl now? I’m puzzled – was she snubbed by Der Kaiser? Did she saw fit to step up her fashion game and take Calvin Klein’s splendid simplicity to show off her gorgeous self on the world’s Red Carpets?
Whatever the reason, I’m grateful she did – Chanel would have never attained such splendid simple beautiful dress! Diane looks like she’s wearing liquid gold for the 2011 Cannes Film Festival! Impressive! And look at Joshua Jackson at her side! Bow tie and black patent sneakers! Priceless, that’s that extra French something, isn’t it? Everything looks so good on the French Red Carpet! Angelina Jolie’s Soft Beige Ferragamo Dress, Cannes 2011
May 13th, 2011 by kpriss
The last time she was in for Cannes’ Kung Fu Panda, Angelina Jolie was lovely and very much pregnant with her twins. Not much has changed ever since, Angelina remaining lovely (and that, as you know, is an understatement) and, well, with pretty much the same frame, minus the baby bump.
Angelina Jolie, ladies and gentlemen, wearing something non – black! Proof that France really ups the fashion in one’s wardrobe! (click through for one of Angelina‘s most beautiful picture I’ve seen so far!) (photos via)

Lady Gaga’s V Magazine 71, The Asian Issue Covers
May 12th, 2011 by kpriss
Promoting on any available channel, that’s not something unknown to the entertainment people. Lady Gaga, who’s aiming at the world’s most entertaining artist title is surely on her way to master the promotional job.
Now on the cover of V Magazine’s 71 Issue, the Asian Issue, Lady Gaga looks scary, fashionably, crazy, she’s premiering a multi faceted persona/lity, yours to choose the favorite. I’m getting such a huge Cruella DeVil vibe from her new look, it’s hard to think about something else.
I do think she’s fabulously styled and courageously avant garde (for a commercial item). Photographed by Inez and Vinoodh and styled by (who else) Nicola Formichetti, Lady Gaga V covers trifecta (in larger versions right after the jump!) (10% from the proceeds go to the tsunami relief fund; via)

Standing tall and proud as the most fashionable of them all – Uma Thurman who was wearing a white Dolce & Gabbana dress for the press call and a feathered strapless Versace gown for the evening. Milla Jovovich Travels With Her Louis Vuitton Suitcase
May 12th, 2011 by kpriss
Louis Vuitton has thought of anything and everything before you! For instance – how to not misplace your luggage in an airport? (though sometimes, not even Louis Vuitton can help that!)
The answer is pretty simple: add a touch of personality to your luggage! The LV Mon Monogram program allows customers to stripe their products and even add their initials on the monogrammed LV leather products. Not fashionable enough for you? Well, it’s fashionable enough for Milla Jovovich and that should say something! Take a look at her MJ monogrammed Louis Vuitton Pegase 55 Travel Suitcase while checking in at the LAX with her adorable little girl, Ever Gabo! Aren’t they something? Jason Wu’s Miss Wu Mini Cross Body Bag
May 12th, 2011 by kpriss
While I’m constantly packing on diapers and multiple clothing changes for a regular outing with the kids (yeah, that happens when you have a baby – everything your bag used to be now and have resides under a mountain of baby things – as if locating the keys in your purse wasn’t hard enough as it was!), I keep dreaming about sizing down my bags.
Because there comes a time in a woman’s life when a larger – than – life tote isn’t satisfying anymore. You have to downsize it. Seriously. And I’ve been searching high and low for my favorite cross body bags in a mini version. Jason Wu’s Miss Wu is my latest crush!
Part of the Fall Winter 2011 2012 collection, the Miss Wu Mini Cross Body bag is as close to perfect as I can imagine a bag this size can be! It’s lady-ish enough to make it through the tightest pretentious comb and practical enough to conquer a mother’s heart (on a sans diapers season). How about you? How do you feel about Miss Wu? (and mini bags in general?) (via 1, 2)
