It would appear that being the face of Chanel isn’t the only great thing in Blake Lively’s life right now. She appears to be romantically involved with one of the world’s most sought – after bachelors, Leonardo di Caprio.
Though the relationship was neither denied nor confirmed, the two have been seen together recently, holding hands and, biensur, photographed. So, my daaahlings, if you’re looking for love but don’t really know how to conjure it, try a Chanel first? Also, if you were like me, unable to understand why Blake was the new Chanel girl, maybe this would be a plausible explanantion… (photos via)

Remember when we saw Marc Jacobs wearing a Prada Skirt and Prada shoes? It was, it seems, no accident, as the designer is a self confessed Prada fan! Raison de plus to love Miuccia Prada’s collection, not that we needed another incentive to drool over her creations!
In the latest issue of Industrie magazine, Marc Jacobs is photographed in what looks to be his walk in closet, wearing pieces from Prada collections as styled by Katie Grand and photographed by Manuela Pavesi. We’re no strangers to Swarovski crystals. From some of the most exquisite collaborations to the kitschy-est, there’s a Swarovski – thing for everyone!
One thing leads to another so Swarovski made the leap and launched into the beauty industry! With a perfume, makeup and care products, Swarovski is aiming to beautify every woman out there. Their first line is (suggestively) called Aura and comes with promises that there’s more to it than the skin – deep gorgeousness of the packaging!
The Aura perfume is mainly floral (with high notes of white tuberose but also fruity notes of lychee and spicy notes of red berries) while the must have of the collection is a perfumed body cream filled with Swarovski crystal powder! Aura by Swarovski. Would you give it a try? (via)

Mischa Barton’s Phillip Plein’s Black Skull Crystals Bag

We’ve seen Mischa Barton a few days back wearing something I felt like describing as “clown-y”. She was also carrying a black suede bag which added a pinch of rock’n’roll to her otherwise funny look.
Seeing that skulls still rule fashion is somewhat a relief for (one) fashion is not radically changing season after season after all and (two) your skull-ish accessories are still in! Models Without Makeup And Retouching. Natalia, Kim, Edita

Much has been done and plastered with “no makeup” or “no photoshop” but the truth is, not many famous people can afford to be seen without makeup.
As was actually reading a confession the other day (followed by a good hundred or so other similar confessions) from a stay at home mum who would not dare be bare faced, hence she was wearing makeup all day, every day. So it’s not just the famous people, eh?
Below few photos from Scott Trindle who was commissioned by the Viva Model agency to shot some of its top models with no makeup or retouching for a special exhibition marking the agency’s opening in London. Natalia Vodianova, Edita Vilkeviciute, Kim Noorda are some of the names and famous faces you’ll see with no makeup or any other styling other than their own, as they were when they walked through the door for the photoshooting. I personally think the pictures add more character and authenticity to the actual persons who were being photographed. That and I’m a bare – faced chica for 90% of my time. How about you? Katie Holmes attended the Drama Desk Awards few nights ago and acted as a presenter during the 56th edition of the prestigious soiree.
You may have noticed that ever since she’s growing out her hair (a look I love, she looks so young and relaxed again), she doesn’t hold as many headlines as she did before. However, every occasion is good to push her fashion line (and people say she’s so different from Victoria Beckham? ) and this is no exception. Katie Holmes lovely shiny purple dress is reportedly a Holmes and Yang creation. Which we don’t see rather often on the Red Carpet. Actually we wouldn’t see Holmes and Yang creations at all, if it wasn’t for Katie pushing them. Did you started this fashion thing just to prove Victoria you can do it too, Katie? (photos via)
