What is happening? I thought the short hair thing was way behind us already! Have you seen Dakota Fanning’s new short haircut?
Granted she’s starring in a movie about a girl who has leukemia so this could still be a cleverly coiffed wig, however, if it’s true and Dakota did cut her long blond locks, would you say that Emma Watson has anything to do with it? And would you say Dakota looks good with such short hair?

It was a great weekend for everyone, it would appear, not just for the Beckhams and the Hudson – Bellamy! Yes, it’s true they received a much greater gift than the birthday girl here, but Jessica Simpson celebrated her 31th anniversary over the weekend (July 10th) and she got this utterly amazing, unbelievably greater than life, impeccably orange gift.
A Hermes Birkin bag. Big. Orange. Hermes. Birkin. Bag! Now all that’s missing is a music video or a film to cast the bag in! (in which, classically, she would ask for the Big. Orange Hermes Birkin and she would be handed a Kelly. Green. Ostrich. Ha!)

You know by now: every summer, you have to paint your nails bright yellow. Because you can never have enough of bright sunshine, there’s got to be a little sunshine yellow on your fingertips. Yeah, so yellow nails are literally hot for summer manicures!
What you may not know, however, is that Chanel launched a yellow nail polish this summer called Chanel Le Vernis Mimosa. And yes, everybody wants a piece of it! Well, she just officially joined the fashion aristocracy as the spokesface of the new Fall Winter 2011 2012 Tom Ford ad campaign! Faithful to his bleached eyebrows aesthetic, Tom Ford keeps it glam – vamp and uses Mert and Marcus for the occasion. Now you see what I was saying about shooting an ad outside, like these ones, and shooting in hotel rooms? It’s just… something else! (isn’t it?) There’s a rumor circulating these days implying that Carla Bruni Sarkozy (France’s First Lady), who is currently pregnant, would be expecting twins.
Little is known about the pregnancy, not even the due date, so this could be just as true as anything else, the world’s imagination is vividly working at spreading this and that about public figures and their doings. (remember this week’s picture of Victoria Beckham’s baby bump as surprised by David, her husband, as shared by him on his Facebook page only days after his wife denied wanting to show her pregnant belly to the wide world). So what have you heard? Is Carla expecting twins? Have you seen her? how amazingly fit she looks even though heavily pregnant!

If you love handbags, you will simply adore the Loewe Fall Winter 2011 2012 ad campaign! Because Mariacarla Boscono, who’s fronting the house’s ad campaign, is wearing (very) little else besides the Loewe bags!
The images were styled by the one and only Katie Grand and photographed by Mert and Marcus in Madrid’s Ritz Hotel. Victoria Beckham Gives Birth To Baby Girl. Kate Hudson Gives Birth To Baby Boy

Victoria Beckham finally gave birth to her baby girl! Congrats to the happy family! Though I initially thought it was the same day as the Beckham girl, Kate Hudson, however, who also gave birth this weekend, only to a baby boy, had her delivery planned (or not) Saturday, July 9. Congrats to Kate and Matt Bellamy (Muse’s frontman)!
It’s been a pretty busy weekend, wouldn’t you say? Can’t wait for the precious baby pictures! Anyone cares to bet on the color of the Louboutin shoes worn by the Beckham girl in her first photo session? Or the rocker tee worn by Kate’s baby boy? Which magazines do you think will publish the famous covers (since People announced both news, I think they come across as favorites)? How about a couple – picture for the Beckham – Hudson babies?
