Victoria’s Secret 2011 Fashion Show. Models Wearing Lingerie

That’s all there is to it, in the end! Yes, Victoria’s Secret has put a major wheel in motion with each and every Victoria’s Secret Show – a handful of gorgeous girls walking around in lingerie, wearing all sorts of crazy, sweet, daring accessories in a financial seduction game.
Though it was initially (read the 90s) placed near Valentine’s Day, VS Fashion Show has slowly but steadily migrated in Christmas’s cozy proximity. Actually, this year it was a major show for Victoria’s Secret as they celebrated 10 years from their first TV broadcast show! 10 years of gorgeous girls cheerfully walking around in VS lingerie with more and more elaborate accessories. VS Angels, ten of the twenty to forty models to walk for Victoria’s Secret each year, made their debut in 1998. (hit the jump to see the rest of the images, the video; click here for the gallery)
Lily Aldridge’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2011: Too Short

Now what happened to Lily Aldridge and how come she only had just two (my count) runway outfits? I think she’s one of the best looking Angels and she has that je-ne-sais-quoi that’ll make you stare in complete oblivion, charmed by her steps and her moves. And her smile!
Oh, and the Pink section let me down completely! The lingerie was childish (and I don’t mean that as a compliment), the outfits were dreadful (pretty much the same compliment I have for the Supers section also). I missed last year’s playfulness! Anyway, back to Lily – isn’t she adorable? (check out the gallery here!)
Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio Do Victoria’s Secret 2011 Fashion Show

Initially I wanted to treat them separately. However, more I saw pictures of them, more I picked on the similarities between Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio. They seem to over-enjoy the show. If that’s even possible! I know they’re supposed to have fun and cheer everybody up, but Adriana and Alessandra do more than that.
Way more. Like they’d be high. On glitter? Never mind! Let’s focus on the catwalk – Victoria’s Secret cares a lot about these two girls – you can tell by the wings they’re carrying! Bedazzled and glittered, Adriana and Alessandra are like two feathers of the same wing. You can’t have one without the other! Am I the only one who noticed that? Chanel Iman’s Victoria’s Secret 2011 Fashion Show

Although I wasn’t expecting something more daring, Chanel Iman’s outfits for Victoria’s Secret 2011 Fashion show came out as playful and cute more than anything else.
Which goes great with Chanel. As opposed to many other Pink Nation outfits, Chanel Iman’s Pink section was way better than her Ballet tenue. The LEDs wings were completely unexpected and really adorable! I’m not as convinced about the coral tutu, yellow shoes and striped socks pairing, but I’d love to hang the wings somewhere on a wall! (you know, I totally get playful – but doesn’t that outfit look plain tasteless? Anja Rubik’s Victoria’s Secret 2011 Fashion Show

Although technically I haven’t heard anything about Anja Rubik being a VS Angel, she had her beautiful wings out on the 2011 Fashion Show catwalk in the Aquatics section! That (and the ballet one) were by far the most beautiful sections of this year’s Victoria’s Secret show!
A far cry from the most suited person to walk in this show (yes, I’m talking about Doutzen), Anja managed to show off her gorgeous endless bones … ahem legs in no less than three different outfits! She’s a beautiful, girl, don’t get me wrong, you know I love her deeply! It’s just that… she shouldn’t do a lingerie show… Should she? (more images right after the jump, click here for the gallery!)
Adam & Anne’s Heidi & Seal Moment For Victoria’s Secret 2011 Fashion Show

You know I was asking who’s singing at this year’s Victoria’s Secret 2011 Fashion Show? Maroon 5! Among others (count Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Jay Z also)
You may or may not know it, but Maroon 5’s frontman, Adam Levine, has a soft spot for models. His current fling, Anne Vyalitsyna was also on the catwalk tonight, making her debut her third show (until now) for Victoria’s Secret. And just because, during her runway outing, they had a Heidi & Seal moment! A full on PDA, people! Like Heidi & Seal! So wrong on so many levels! I know,I know, they look cute, don’t they? But it’s been done before! It’s like building another Statue of Liberty! It’s been done people, get over it already! Do something original? (click here for the gallery!)
Joan Small’s First Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show: VS 2011

What was I saying just hours ago? That I looooove Joan Smalls? Yes, I stand by that! She’s really one of the best looking models right now and she should definitely get more coverage! Her debut on Victoria’s Secret catwalk was undoubtedly a big hit!
Joan Smalls, my darlings, has walked for Victoria’s Secret 2011 Fashion Show looking all kinds of beautiful! I liked her Aquatic outfit the most, and her smile! (not so crazy about her “Super” outfit – check her out after the jump!)
Miranda Kerr’s Victoria’s Secret 2011 Fashion Show

Since you well know I can’t resist Miranda Kerr’s dimpled smile, I simply had to get her out of the way. Because, as always, Miranda was one of the best looking Angels!
Victoria’s Secret 2011 Fashion Show has been kind with Miranda by giving her nice outfits, cute wings and … you know, that $2,5 Million Fantasy Bra! Miranda Kerr, ladies and gents!
