This year, it’s Miranda Kerr who will be the wearer of the Fantasy Bra in Victoria’s Secret 2011 Fashion Show. And it really deserves its name!
The soft blue bra is adorned with no less than 3,400 precious little stones of all kinds. The 18-karats white and yellow gold structure is paved with white and yellow diamonds, citrines and aquamarines, pearls and two white diamonds and two yellow diamonds in the center piece. The jewelry, for it is no longer a lingerie piece but jewelry item, was handcraftedby Long Island’s London Jewelers and it totals a mind blowing $2,5Million.
Truly a unique moment for any model, especially in a lingerie show where everyone is wearing as little fabric as possible! You show them, Miranda!
There’s no telling what really inspired the design of this year’s Fantasy Bra: if it was the gorgeous blue of Miranda’s eyes or the endless waters her husband, Orlando Bloom, is sailing in his Pirates of the Caribbean movies! Whichever, the truth shines on, in many karats!
And Miranda is, herself, a dimpled rare pearl in the fashion industry. Both grounded and extremely successful, now with a husband many women out daydream about, a new baby and her old gorgeous pre-baby body back in less than a year after giving birth! Seriously, can fairy tales get any better?
