Ginnifer Goodwin’s Roksanda Ilincic Pink Dress For 2012 People’s Choice Awards

Hours ago I wrote about an Electropop story. China Glaze’s Spring 2012 Nail Polish collection, to be more specific. Now I bring you Ginnifer Goodwin’s Electropop 2012 People’s Choice Awards!

I kid you not, have you seen her dress? Roksanda Ilincic’s pink dress from the Spring Summer 2012 collection (matched with black lace peep toe booties) is that love or hate moment of the night. And I’m more for the latter. Bold doesn’t always equal stylish. Although Ginnifer is so adorable and always looking cute, no matter her haircut or her outfit!

Ashley Greene’s Black DKNY Leather And Lace Dress At 2012 People’s Choice Awards

Ashley Greene’s advertorial contract with Donna Karan’s DKNY label could have provided something prettier for the young actress to wear at the 2012 edition of People’s Choice Awards. Instead she got stuck in a black leather and lace number, that despite of it not being a complete flop and even interesting here and there, didn’t flatter Ashley. Or so I think.

Luckily for her (and her stylist) they get away with a “good” since they kept it all minimal, without accessorizing more than necessary or bringing any other style elements into the evening’s look.

Lea Michele, Demi Lovato In Marchesa Dresses At 2012 People’s Choice Awards

One of the most loved brands for a Red Carpet Event, Marchesa, was represented at the 2012 edition of the People’s Choice Awards by not one but two lovely ladies: Demi Lovato and Lea Michele.

As far as Lea Michele goes, her white Marchesa flapper dress was more fitting and more flattering than Demi Lovato’s peachy Marchesa train gown. As lovely as she was, Demi doesn’t cut it for me with that look – every time I see pictures of her being her casual self, she’s a totally hippie girl – so, naturally, that Red Carpet Marchesa look at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards, although flawless, isn’t her. I wish people could stick with their personal style (or at least something that would stand up and represent their true personality) even for Red Carpet events. It would make things funnier and more comfortable for them and way more interesting for us – wouldn’t it? What’s wrong with hippie on the Red Carpet, eh?

Emma Stone’s Green Gucci Tux For 2012 People’s Choice Awards

Whether you know it or not, January 11 was the day (ahem evening) the Red Carpet rolled out for the 2012 edition of the People’s Choice Awards. We are, naturally, interested in the fashion moments going up and down the star studded event carpet.

I’ll start with one of my favorite young actresses of the moment: Emma Stone. She’s such a fresh sight to see, her smile is lovely and contagious and her beauty is natural and unexpected. So was her outfit for the night: a suit! Gucci nonetheless, with a green tux, but a pants suit! Love, love, love it! Fabulous, fierce, stylish and then some! How do you like her?

Anne Hathaway’s Tod’s Spring Summer 2012 Ad Campaign

Trying to document Tod’s story about the Colosseum, I found some information about Tod’s Spring Summer 2012 Ad Campaign!

The Italian luxury brand is going (again) for a famous face and this time it’s Anne Hathaway (who was also the face for the brand’s last ad campaign). This an excellent placement as Anne is playing Selina Kyle, the Catwoman, in the upcoming Batman installment (for which, rumor has it, tickets are already selling out, although the premiere for The Dark Knight Rises is slated for July 2012 – need I remind, however, you that rumors are rumors, they can’t always be trusted). Back to Anne: She’s the face of Tod’s Signature Handbags Collection, as photographed by Mert and Marcus. And she’s looking lovely, natural and all lady-like. (they went a bit too far her mouth’s photoshopping, didn’t they?)

China Glaze Goes Pop With Electrifying Nail Polish Collection Spring 2012

If you’re ready to get over the Christmas blues, the January depression and whatnot, get on your feet and think pop! Electropop! China Glaze has put together a truly electrifying collection of Nail Polish for Spring 2012. Think names like: “Sunshine pop”, “Make some noise”, “Kinetic Candy” and so forth! I’d wear them just for their names! (if I wasn’t a complete French girl!) you? any chance of going gradient? or pop?

Italy’s Colosseum Restoration Should Be Fashion Funded

The Colosseum is one of the symbols representing Italy (and more specifically Rome) world wide. Its shredded stone walls stand tall against the passing of years. But not if fashion has something to say about it!

Tod’s (yes, the same Tod’s for which Gwyneth Paltrow used to represent) has apparently set up a guarantee fund for the restoration of the Colosseum (10 million euros, $12,7 Million) to start the works at the Colosseum. However, this is not something Tod’s is doing for free (although they reportedly denied it): for the entire duration of the restoration of the monument (for which they’re willing to donate 25 Million euros – $31,8 Million), Tod’s ads would be visible on the Colosseum’s protective wraps. However, it is said that their sponsorship proposal has been rejected. Looking forward for Tod’s next move… (I wonder if Hermes could do the same if ever a restoration plan of the Eiffel Tower would be set in motion! and… Ralph Lauren for Mount Rushmore)

Dare To Wear Alex And Ani’s Positive Energy Jewelry?

I found this stack of bracelets (below) the other day and I thought it was lovely! I generally don’t wear bracelets as I have to move all the time, at all times, and I feel like they’re holding me down (I think it’s a thing all Gemini experience – you know I’m a complete summer child!)

Anyway, in those few, rare occasions my Adored Husband takes me out for a romantic night out (sigh – daydreaming!), I get to wear (one) makeup, (two) nice clothes, (three, but only on occasion) high heels and finally (four, that too on occasions) jewelry (other than my wedding ring and my usually always the same earrings). Well, whenever (four) happens, I stack on dangling bracelets and / or hang some chandelier earrings or giant hoops and I feel more or less like Santa’s ride. I make a sound with every breath I take! But I love it (blushing).

Now about Alex and Ani (finally!) – the stack of bracelets I found as created by Carolyn Rafaelian, owner of Alex and Ani is said to focus on positive energy. What is that, anyway? Hit the jump and find out!
