Yesterday I had one of the most wonderful jeans – surprises yet! Someone took the time not just to enjoy one of our articles but also to send me this sweet letter of jeans – appreciation! As it turns out, one of my favorite pair of jeans was her’s favorite too! And that she had bought not one, but four pairs of the jeans in question! Now that’s passion, a’it?
That above mentioned jeans topic brought me to the roots of my appreciation for boyfriend / relaxed fit jeans: Current Elliott. So here’s Current Elliott’s Spring 2012 collection lookbook.

We’ve talked about black wedding dresses. We’ve talked about Victoria’s Secret couture lingerie, now it’s time to talk about the new Wedding Dress concept: a g – string wedding dress signed Kaviar couture! At least they kept the traditional white and the long veil. Oh, and the white shoes! (I wonder where she keeps the “something blue” and what she could be borrowing for the occasion)

And another model who’s keeping it tight under the fashion radar! (last I remember we were talking about her divorce & more, weren’t we?) Natalia Vodianova is this Spring Summer 2012 ad campaign spokesperson for Stella McCartney.
The ad campaign falls in this season’s trends with delicate flowers all around – except for the clothing. It’s an interesting way of showcasing the collection, in a 70s mood, with a little help from Mert and Marcus – I’m having a hard time concentrating on the clothes, though – am I the only one? Oh, and Natalia with sunglasses on is totally unrecognizable – is it the fringe, the campaign pose?

It’s a Couture moment, my daahlings! And Victoria’s Secret felt left out! So there you go, for your couture pleasure, Victoria’s Secret launching their first high – end lingerie collection. Haute Couture Underwear, that’s what it is! They included pieces from the said collection in their latest fashion show, see below, and also note that it’s almost a sell out in just a week from the release (prices vary from $38 to $298). I like the sound of it: I bought myself some Victoria’s Secret couture!

Last we talked about Jessica Stam, she was proudly showing her new hair color. Jessica Stam, the forever blond is now a brunette. If we’re to believe that early hair – report!
Harper’s Bazaar Australia’s March 2012 shows us the same Jessica Stam, same ethereal blond charm, wearing a well suited flowery lace Vuitton dress on the cover. The inside pictorial was styled by Jillian Davison and Christine Centenera, her hair was done by Teddy Charles and the makeup was executed by Mickael Noiselet. Crystal Renn Still Skinny. Dressed In Red Zac Posen Dress

Although she’s been flying under the fashradar lately – what? Has anyone seen Crystal Renn this fashion season? Or this advertorial season? Truly a one – season flavor she was! So – Crystal Renn goes back on the Red Carpet for the screening of Madonna’s W.E. in a red Zac Posen dress. And she’s still skinny! (maybe that’s why people stopped talking about her?)
Givenchy Spring 2012 Couture Collection

Spectacular! Each and every one of Riccardo Tisci’s models from the Spring 2012 Givenchy Couture collection was breathtakingly beautiful! The sartorial exploits, the details on the dresses, the fabrics he used, it was all very powerful, very creative, very Haute Couture!
The exaggerated jewelry pieces add to the general drama of the collection’s individual pieces, the standing models make it look more like a painting than a fashion show. This is something entirely different from all that’s been displayed in the Parisian Haute Couture scene this season, even if it also works around precious skin and retrospectives. I told you about my decision to grow out my gray hair and willingly ignore that hair dye exists. Throughout the years, I will continue to support this cause by bringing you more and more examples of stylish, absolutely fashionable ways to wear natural, gray hair!
