Super Bowl Ads: Adrien Brody, Gael Garcia Bernal, Andre 3000 For Gillette Video
February 6th, 2012 by kpriss
We already talked about this great campaign so this is no surprise. However, it’s not just a photo to sustain the new Gillette Styler wonder product, there’s also a video commercial (and what better moment to slip that than during the Super Bowl commercial break?). With all three Gillette styled men trying to convince us that that’s all you need to proper groom your facial hair.
I wouldn’t know, but I know this much: I absolutely, unreservedly looooove my Adored Husband’s facial hairdo! So this (shhh! It’s a surprise!) could be his upcoming Birthday present! (one of them, at least!) Anyone tried it already? Please share your experience, I’m really interested!

Eva Mendes Covers Marie Claire US March 2012
February 5th, 2012 by kpriss
It has been a while since Eva Mendes graced the cover of a fashion magazine! That doesn’t seem to have slowed her in any way! Notoriously dating Ryan Gosling (and globally envied for that alone), Eva Mendes goes to Marie Claire March 2012 with a story about the secrets of her gorgeousness. And how she landed Ryan. Biensur.
Because we all know, there’s a secret recipe for dating this or that man. And for having this or that skin, this or that body. If I had to write that article, I’d say that Eva Mendes’ supreme secret to all of the above (and more) is fun! She seems to be such a fun girl! And fun girls always look at the bright side! Who’d want a gloomy lady, even with a perfect body & face?

Sofia Coppola Marni H&M Collection Ad Campaign Video
February 5th, 2012 by kpriss
So we were all expecting this commercial signed by Sofia Coppola for H & M Marni collection, hoping (although somehow already knowing) that it won’t disappoint. And judging by the end result which just surfaced, it has every sign of Sofia Coppola’s lovely cinematography, a heavy European charm, bonus the H & M affordable advantage. I may not be a supporter of the mixing prints fashion, but I sure liked this ad. Is it March yet?
i – D Victoria Beckham This Spring 2012!
February 5th, 2012 by kpriss
And another proof that growing old equals growing beautiful! It took me a while to understand Victoria Beckham and fully digest her appeal. However, I’m sold now! As is half the fashion world who, if it’s not already convinced that Victoria Beckham is here to stay, they’re in for a tough reality facing!
Victoria Beckham as photographed by Josh Olins on the cover of i – D magazine “Whatever the weather” issue no 317, Pre Spring 2012 is a refreshingly fashionable yet effortlessly catchy sight (this issue counts nine covers in total, see after the jump). The inside pictorial seems to follow that same idea as I could see from the i – D preview. While Victoria herself shares some thoughts about her fashion line and, biensur, her adorable baby Harper! Am I going mainstream since I’m developing this Beckham – liking (and more)?
Helena Christensen Advertises For Reebok. Again
February 5th, 2012 by kpriss
Not that I had any complains about that – Helena Christensen looks amazing and I always had a weak spot for Reebok (and all black sneakers). However, looking at a 43 – year – old model (I imagine, with some photoshop smoothing here and there) and understanding that ageing isn’t so bad after all, is positive way beyond a regular sneakers advertising.
(which sneakers, I admit, look pretty fancy from where I stand). I have yet to believe that all that gorgeous body is all due to wearing Reebok sneakers, but hey, Helena could sell me just about anything, so I’m guessing Reebok’s marketing department figured out that much!
Rihanna’s New Blond Hair And Armani Jeans Jumpsuit
February 5th, 2012 by kpriss
… showed up at a restaurant just the other night. While we were used to seeing Rihanna’s beautiful natural hair for few months already, it would appear that now she opted for a radically different hair: blond and straight with dark roots. I admit seeing her (wearing her self designed Armani washed jeans jumpsuit) makes me want to try that same relaxed chic look – isn’t she lovely?
Ashley Greene’s Chanel Boy Chanel Chained Black Bag
February 5th, 2012 by kpriss
Remember we talked about Chanel trying to reach out for a younger audience through their Boy Chanel handbag line? It’s definitely not a side effect of Alice Dellal advertising for the collection, as the campaign per se hasn’t been released yet, however, Boy Chanel handbags seem to make an impression on the young Hollywood wave.
Ashley Greene was seen out and about wearing a classic ensemble: red sweater and dark gray skinny jeans worn with towering high heeled platform shoes aaaand a black leather chained Boy Chanel Chanel shoulder bag! Clearly more discrete and less common than the usual Chanel quilted handbag, the Boy Chanel is an interesting alternative bag. Do you think it will replace the classic 2.55?
Isabeli Fontana, Natasha Poly Cover Vogue China March 2012
February 4th, 2012 by kpriss
We all love a good model cover. However, Vogue China’s March 2012 Cover is so bad, I’d rather see a celebrity cover instead of it any day! Besides, Vogue China doesn’t care much about being original – someone must have heard that we’d love to see a model on the cover of Vogue. So they decided to double the pleasure (we do love Isabeli Fontana and Natasha Poly, but this photo is tasteless)! (can you please stop, Vogue China? Use your imagination, fashion is all about creativity, not repetition!)
