Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz In Pale Dresses For 2012 Oscars

Can you believe these two were a couple on the 2012 Oscars stage? A couple of fancily dressed presenters, that is! (what did you thought?) Jennifer Lopez was sparkling in a soft beige Zuhair Murad dress and Cameron Diaz was statuesque (although she worked out too much for my taste) in a soft beige Gucci Premiere dress.
Both ladies dresses matched perfectly while they were up on the Oscars stage presenting the award for Best Makeup (to “The Artist). Speaking of makeup – did you notice that Jennifer Lopez also went for an elongated cat eye? (check out the gallery for a closer look) (images courtesy)

Stacy Keibler’s Metallic Marchesa Dress For 2012 Oscars

Have you seen the metallic dress worn by Stacy Keibler at the 2012 Oscars? She was there with her boyfriend, George Clooney, who was nominated for Best Leading Actor and she shined more than he did!
After talking about the beautiful Meryl Streep and her golden dress, Stacy Keibler’s metallic Marchesa dress was the next logical step. Even though I can’t help but look at her like someone’s girlfriend (she is, isn’t she? George Clooney’s current flame?), Stacy Keibler keeps wearing fancy dresses on the Red Carpet, thus getting significant attention from the press. Not one of my favorite looks tonight (too shiny, too high profile, too soon), but everybody seems to enjoy her. Why is that? (images courtesy)

Meryl Streep In Lanvin Golden Dress For 2012 Oscars

Although she deserved it fully, Meryl Streep was a surprising win at the 2012 edition of the Oscars. Maybe she had a feeling that she will take home the golden statue so she decided to match her dress to her trophy? (Meryl won the Oscar for Best Leading Actress for her performance in The Iron Lady)
Meryl Streep ditched her usual pockets dress for a sparkling, golden dress signed Lanvin. She was perfect, as always. Her warmth, her amazingly beautiful, happy smile took the stage in a cascade of gratitude for everyone, everything in her life! Congrats, Meryl! You’re a great lady, a great actress and you’ll always have an Oscar from me!

A very special mention for Octavia Spencer who was label – faithful on the 2012 Oscars Red Carpet. Octavia was wearing a white sparkling Tadashi Shoji dress at this edition of the Oscars.
And if wearing Tadashi Shoji, means she’s going home with an award (and not just for one of the best dressed on The 2012 Oscars Red Carpet), her superstition was spot on! Octavia was awarded with the Oscar for the Best Supporting Actress for her amazing performance in “The Help”. Beautiful, Octavia, just beautiful! And your dress too!

Natalie Portman’s Vintage Dior Red Dress For 2012 Oscars

How beautiful are these two? Natalie Portman is back on the Red Carpet! And she brought her fiancé, Benjamin Millepied, with her! Both are parents to a wonderful little boy and, I guess, pretty happy about everything, since they’re so glowing and perfect together!
Enough of the couple talk: back to Natalie’s red dress: she’s reportedly wearing a Christian Dior Haute Couture dress from the Rare Vintage collection (back from 1954) on the 2012 Oscars Red Carpet. She’s like an appearance from long lost glam times! The exquisite Harry Winston jewelry helped her sparkle even more. But I think it was all in the smile. That smile of love! Gwyneth Paltrow. When I started my quick 2012 Oscars report, I never anticipated saying this: Gwyneth Paltrow is one of my favorite apparitions on the Red Carpet tonight! She’s simply flawless! From her smile down to her impeccable Tom Ford white dress!
Yes! The word is that she was wearing Tom Ford for this special Awards Ceremony! But whoever she would be wearing, Gwyneth looks glowing and perfect, physique – wise! Her dress compliments her amazing shape and makes me compliment her over and over again! So I’ll just stop here and ask you plainly – what do you think of Gwyneth tonight? Angelina Jolie’s Versace Black Velvet Dress For 2012 Oscars

Now if we were already used to seeing Angelina Jolie wearing dramatically high leg slits before, even we, didn’t see this coming! Angelina Jolie, ladies and gents, is fiercely showing some leg in her black strapless velvet dress from Atelier Versace (she’s stealing all the attention from her beau, Brad Pitt, who was nominated for Best Actor Award).
She is, undoubtedly, a very beautiful woman, but Angelina’s posing on the 2012 Oscars Red Carpet may have just let us know that good ol’ party girl Angie is not completely buried under deep layers of charity and motherhood. I wasn’t really charmed by her red lipstick, thought (yes, I know it’s a must wear this year, but still… Angelina’s features are already too striking as it is, why put on the red lights? hit the jump for more images; click here for the gallery!)
