Jennifer Lawrence Does Glamour April 2012

If I had not told you that this was Jennifer Lawrence, would you have guessed it? I know I wouldn’t! Charming Jennifer is the cover girl for Glamour’s April 2012 issue. That, biensur, because she’s Katniss. Hunger Games made all this Glamour possible. Is Jennifer the next big thing in cinema? She’s so versatile – the perfect bombshell transformed into the girl next door!

If last week, all I could think about was the leather fringed mini skirt, today I’m dreaming about some pieces from the Marni for H & M collection. I’ll stick with the clothes – talk, with a special mention for the hair Aymeline Valade wears in the lookbook of the Marni H & M collection: frizz, baby! That’s what I’m loving, that’s what we’re all about!

Now about the clothes: I looove the dotted dress, it’s heartstealing! The graphic tee top is adorable and the simple v neck blouse is so simple, stylish and timeless, I’d wear it forever! Undeniably eighties, Balenciaga Fall Winter 2012 2013 collection stayed true to its edgy legend and high fashion beliefs. Patching leather, fabric and fur, following straight cuts and geometrically exact lines, Balenciaga’s new collection is definitely going to draw attention. Half of it looks like fishermen wearing Iron Maiden tees dressed up in their camping tents, but it’s actually Balenciaga! (the entire collection here)

Wow! Time really flies, huh? Jennifer Garner finally gave birth to her third child with husband Ben Affleck. Aaaand it’s a boy! How wonderful is that? Two older sisters (Violet, 6 and Seraphina, 3) are surely happy to welcome the new addition to the Garner Affleck home.

The baby boy was born on February 27th and his name is Samuel. Everyone is reportedly healthy and happy! We are too! Congrats to the lovely couple and blessings to the entire family, and especially to their youngest one! (and just because I was waiting for a pretext to slip this little wonder in, check out an amazing baby announcement after the jump! Be warned though: don’t press play if you’re wearing non – waterproof mascara! I ignored the warning and now I look like a zebra!)

V Magazine’s Sports issue includes some pretty outstanding pictures of Stephanie Seymour. Sea More Stephanie is the name of the pictorial shot by Sebastian Faena and styled by Carlyne Cerf de Doudzeele.

It’s great to see Stephanie Seymour, it’s even greater to see a real woman with real shapes in the pages of a fashion magazine. It doubles the inspiration! I trust you know where your diving gear is? Every now and then, I have a moment of sheer honesty that I absolutely have to share with you: James Franco brought this upon me today! GQ Style Germany Spring Summer 2012 cover, as photographed by Mariano Vivanco is rather strange. Very strange.

It’s supposed to be about Men fashion and James Franco. That’s how far my German goes (wink). But really, that knife? What’s it doing there? Once again, my eyebrows are raised high in an effort to understand today’s men fashion and what men style stands for. Do you know any men who’d buy this? And could you please ask them why they’d do it? (I know it’s not GQ Russia – wink – but still, let’s take this cover into style consideration and speak our mind? wink again)

Since we all agreed that Levi’s is pretty much our favorite denim brand, how about a Levi’s bag? And not just any bag, but a Levi’s Vintage Denim tote?

I like it. It would be suitable for so many purposes and if it’s anything like Levi’s jeans, it will last you forever. And then some! I love the iconic red tab and the Levi’s label. In my opinion, it’s more suitable for every day use than – say – a Louis Vuitton! Not to mention at least 5 times cheaper! Would you wear this Levi’s tote? And a second (and third) cover of the very exquisite Cate Blanchett photoghraphed by Alex Lubomirski for the UK edition of Harper’s Bazaar. Harper’s Bazaar April 2012 revolves around Opulent vs Minimal and as hard as I’m trying to decide which is opulent and which is minimal, the two covers look equally amazing!

As we’ve seen before, black and white covers are one of stylists and magazines editors favorite settings right now. Not to mention one of the most poignant trends on the Red Carpet. And a great classic combination for every fashionista’s tastes. Anyway, back to the Cate: isn’t she just perfect?
