And not just because both ladies cite acting as their main profession and modeling as a collateral, but also because they’re new in motherhoodland. Sienna is still pregnant while Charlize made quite a buzz when the news about her adopting a baby boy got out a couple of weeks ago. Oh, yes, and they also mention movies in their interviews (Sienna is playing Tippi Hedren in a TV biopic) and Charlize is the villain in Snow White and the Huntsman (with Twilight’s Kristen Stewart, set for summer release). Talking about Hunger Games reminded me of this interesting Burger King Netherlands ad campaign. Because everything can get a fashionable spin in Netherlands (remember their Vogue issue), Burger King’s yummy makeup is certainly coming to a street corner near you. If you’re in the Netherlands, biensur. Otherwise, don’t try this at home! And especially, don’t try to put ketchup or mustard on them beautiful hamburger eyes!

I’ve had this story on my desktop for days now and I keep looking at it because I think it’s flawless! Jennifer Lawrence is the new media darling. Her acting in the first Hunger Games installment was impeccable, although a teen – ish plot, Jennifer Lawrence, immensely gifted, acting – wise made it all interesting for grown ups too (do share your views about the Hunger Games story, please).

I’m actually waiting for Anna to give her her fashionably blessings and put Katniss on a Vogue cover soon enough. But until that day, let’s check out Jennifer Lawrence’s braid updo for the premiere of Hunger Games. Isn’t it pretty? And it’s actually quite simple to do!

Now since I started the baby – pregnant talk, I might as well get it all out: I just found out that Tori Spelling is pregnant again! This would be Tori and husband Matt McDermott’s fourth child together. Liam, Stella and Hattie are the couple’s previous children, of which Hattie was born just five months ago! Blessings and congrats to the happy, ever growing family!

Sometimes, the hipsters way of thinking and approaching all things fashion and style completely eludes me. Well, hello little Luca! You look beautiful, just like your mom and dad! Proud parents Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie have released (Twitted, actually) a picture of their son, Luca Cruz who is just two weeks old! Such a cutie pie! I wonder where he got his charmer genes from! (wink)

(am I going too far in this Hair – talk? Anyway, it doesn’t hurt to remind you) I’m a Pixar fan. Huuuge Pixar fan! At such point that Up is definitely one of my favorite movies ever. Naturally, I’m always looking forward to the annual Pixar extravaganza. This year, it’s Brave!

June 2012 is the Brave Pixar month and I can’t wait to see it! By the looks of Merida (the main character, as shown below), Pixar either had word about a big hair trend, either they’re trying to set it as a trend. However, fire-y curly redheads have one more attribute to pin under their picture (besides gorgeous, biensur): Brave! (and what is it with women and bows this year? Katniss, Miranda… just an observation)
