7Months Pregnant Alessandra Ambrosio Covers YO Dona In Alexander McQueen
April 14th, 2012 by kpriss
All the input data was dreamy perfect: Alessandra Ambrosio, perfectly pregnant model wearing Alexander McQueen on the cover of a fashion magazine (Yo Dona). But they’ve got the posing all wrong! She looks torn. And weird. And twisted. Take a look and judge for yourself – still want to be pregnant (and modeling) after this?
Favorite Summer Dresses: White Shirt Dress From Joie
April 14th, 2012 by kpriss
Missed it? After the domestic swirl that is Easter & everything around it, I though it would be a great idea to get back to the lovely, completely harmless closet daydreaming we used to do. And this white shirt dress from Joie is perfect for summer days, at least in my casual book.
Actually, Joie just became my new store – obsession. After I discovered the Rathana Dress (the one below), I was curious for more. And they have so many pretty things in their store, I strongly believe we’ll have more favorite summer dresses from Joie in the future. How do you like this crinkled gauze dress?
Prada Loves Aprons
April 14th, 2012 by kpriss
And that’s not all! Miuccia Prada, who’s getting ready for her Met exhibition, said she’s interested in the lives of women in general. And just so we know exactly where the kitchen is, when you’re looking at it from the catwalk, here’s what Miuccia Prada thinks:
“The apron is a recurring theme in my work because it is symbolic of women’s sufferance… It’s an emblem of women’s despair, their poverty, their passions.” Messy, huh?
Laetitia Casta Covers Vogue Paris May 2012
April 12th, 2012 by kpriss
This is one beautiful Vogue cover! It’s balanced, it’s mature, I love it! Laetitia Casta’s Vogue Paris May 2012 cover is definitely entering the Vogue Paris top covers (at least since Carine Roitfeld’s departure).
Actually, what made me appreciate this cover the most was that it’s not trying to prove anything. It just is. And that’s self sufficient. At least for now. We all know and like Laetitia Casta. We came to find out that white is definitely the new black this summer and simple is undoubtedly more in my book. I can’t wait for the inside goodies to pop up, I cross my fingers for the pictorial (signed by Mario Testino) to be at least as good as the cover teaser. Enough about me liking this already, how about you? How do you feel about this cover?
Mulberry Lana Del Rey Handbag Is Available
April 12th, 2012 by kpriss
Mulberry is like the US Vogue of handbags: whatever the celebrity, it’s good enough for endorsing purposes. After the very successful Alexa bag, Mulberry now released a Del Rey handbag available for $1,250. It’s the name that’ll sell it, if ever, because the design is something you’d find at the nearest thrift shop. And surely not for a four – figures price tag! Who’ll buy the Del Rey Mulberry bag? {Fashionetc}
Kate Moss Is Dior Addict Extreme. Be Iconic 2012 Campaign
April 12th, 2012 by kpriss
Kate Moss keeps on telling us that it’s easy to “be Iconic” with a little help from Dior Addict Extreme, the new Christian Dior Beauty 2012 Ad Campaign. Looking pretty as always, Kate!
And Dior is undoubtedly addictive. Extremely! So there’s no too much in this campaign, nothing looks forced or pushed too far, so I’m guessing it’ll be very successful. Kate can do no wrong, apparently: she’ll make even a disturbingly lackluster print ad campaign like this one work. (it does look like an amateur ad job, it’s not just me, right?)
Crystal Renn Is Blonde With Bleached Eyebrows. Wants Acting Career
April 12th, 2012 by kpriss
So it’s official then: those vacation pictures weren’t just accidental.
Crystal Renn is really having a blonde moment complete with bleached eyebrows (if you ask me, I’d say she’s having a Kristen McMenamy moment, not a Gemini moment like she calls it).
You should know that Crystal is aiming at an acting career: “If the right part came along, yes, most certainly, I would do it. I’m becoming more and more open to that every day.”. Feelings? {Fashionista}
Scarlett Johansson’s Vogue May 2012
April 12th, 2012 by kpriss
I wonder what’s scarier – having Scarlett Johansson on a Vogue cover, looking like torn from another era or reading the actual cover line “Scarlett Johansson, back with a vengeance”. Was there something Scarlett had to revenge? I’m lost… (not in translation, though)
As you may suspect already, Scarlett Johansson is doing Vogue May 2012 because of her Avengers movie being released in theaters this month. A superheroes – packed movie and a new man: that seems to be enough for a Vogue feature. If you’re an actress. Or if Anna W loves you. However, if you hit the jump, you may be surprised how blunt the Mario Testino pictorial feels like. (ready? Here we go)
