Cindy Crawford Posing With Her Mother And Daughter

Cindy Crawford has famously put a stop to her daughter’s modeling career after Kaia, 10, was featured in a Versace campaign. However, Cindy appeared with her own mother and daughter in a new ad campaign. This time, for Mother’s Day. JCPenny’s Things My Mom Gave Me focuses on the mother – daughter relationship and Kaia said Cindy Crawford is the best mom in the world! Could be because she allowed Kaia to model again? {DailyMail}

The Pin Up Smell: Dita Von Teese Launched Perfume

So Dita von Teese has launched her eponymous perfume. As someone whose style is entirely apart, I do expect her Dita von Teese fragrance to stand out through distinctive notes. Especially since her foray into the smelling beauty business was motivated by one of her ex – boyfriends who once told her she smelled like his mother (interesting thing to put on your girlfriend’s shoulders, huh?).

So Dita von Teese’s perfume is said to be just like her: “elegant, glamorous, sophisticated, sexy, dark, and mysterious”. If only for smelling such an ambitious bouquet, I’d love to try the new Dita von Teese fragrance! (available through Liberty of London, Muller and Manor in Switzerland, dm and Muller and Austria and online at Doublas dot de; the complete gift set with Eau de Parfum 20ml, Shower Gel 75ml costs 16.50 Euros / $21,8) (Thank you, Ellington, for bringing this to my attention!)

Hunter Special Union Jack Collection

Talking about the London Olympics: have you heard that the iconic rubber boots label, Hunter, has issued a very special collection entitled “Union Jack”? At least for me, that really doubles the fun of wearing wellies since they come with this special print on. And if your regular, Original Hunters were priced at $125, you have to raise up to $195 for the Union Jack edition. Will you? {Hunter via}

Kate Moss Vogue UK June 2012

It’s like she deliberately kept us in the fashion dark for a couple of issues! Alexandra Shulman seems to have redeemed her fashion glory with Vogue UK June 2012 issue with Kate Moss on the cover!

It’s a great issue, overall, with hidden treasures beyond the Mert & Marcus cover photo of the ultimate British model, Kate Moss. And it should be! It’s Vogue UK’s way of saluting the Olympic Games which are set in London, this summer. Sport legends and all kinds of British legends grace the pages of this remarkable issue (although there’s a pictorial with Arizona Muse I can’t really fit in the general scheme yet): Helena Bonham Carter, Damon Albarn, Edie Campbell, Tom Hardy and more. I think we’ll discuss about this Vogue UK for a while. How do you feel about that?

Counterfeit Store In Dubai: Primark

Talking about counterfeit goods reminded me of this little piece of news: there’s a fake Primark store in Dubai! Although there’s no retail operations base for Primark (a British low – price fast fashion store chain with 236 stores in Europe), there is a boutique with the name Primark on Dubai’s Bank Street, pretending to be part of the said group. Fake bags today, fake stores tomorrow, fake countries in a month! It’s a mad, mad world!{wwd}

Marilyn Monroe Covers Vanity Fair. Again

And to think that Vanity Fair almost made my day with the TV series issue a couple of days ago! Now they brought Marilyn Monroe back. I’m beginning to see it as a tradition for Vanity Fair: every year or so, bam! a Marilyn cover!

Why she’s on the cover of VF’s June 2012 issue? Other than remembering her death on August 5th? Because some “never before seen” pictures of Marilyn taken by Lawrence Schiller in 1960 have just emerged. Images which are reportedly included in “Marilyn & Me”, Lawrence Schiller’s memoir. So yes, another one of those “lost, last photo sessions” with Marilyn. How many of those are there, anyway? It’s like every year brings us yet another lost and never before seen picture of the blond diva! Why isn’t there anyone doing a video saying “please leave Marilyn alone”!

Tom Ford New Ad Campaign Just As Provocative As The Old Ones

Tom Ford knows that controversy and intimacy pave the road to financial success. Regardless of what you’re trying to sell. He holds no more secrets in his advertorial recipe book: all the ingredients you need are skin, more skin, all the skin you have needs to be shown. Add some red lipstick, red nails, think black rimmed eyeglasses and you’re set for world ad – domination.

And although he keeps playing mysterious about his preferences (remember when he said he wasn’t gay? Ha! – yep, he said that some days ago), you can always count on Tom Ford’s scandalous ads. He’ll always deliver the same saucy content. Just a modest example below. (more here)

Vanessa Paradis Denies Split Rumors. She And Johnny Depp Still Together

Although under a cliché – cover, Vogue Australia June 2012 brings us valuable information regarding the much buzzed – about separation between Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp. My daahlings, right from Vanessa’s lips into our ears: the 15 – years long relationship between Vanessa and Johnny is still going strong.

It would appear that the nasty rumors about a split started when Vanessa Paradis showed up alone at the premiere of her newest movie (Café de Flore). The Vogue interview, however, clearly mentions there are no clouds on the Paradis – Depp household sky. And that makes us happy. Doesn’t it? Until further tabloid notice, the love is strong with these two! (photo by Hedi Slimane; the interview can be read here)
