May 8th, 2012 by kpriss
Representing for Burberry Prorsum – not one but two beautiful ladies wearing exquisite designs from the British label. Jourdan Dunn and Clara Delevigne graced the Met Gala 2012 Red Carpet in lace and velvet respectively with and adorable bow belt (for Jourdan) and a rock chic studded black leather glove (for Clara). Cameron Diaz In Silver Stella McCartney Dress For Met Gala 2012
May 8th, 2012 by kpriss
Remember when Cameron Diaz presented at the Oscars? With Jennifer Lopez? Doing some kind of booties stage duo with JLo? Well, that caught. The silver Stella McCartney dress worn by Cameron for the Met Gala 2012 will never catch.
Because although Cameron Diaz is a gorgeous woman with an enviable silhouette, her lack of waist and extreme workout sessions enveloped Cameron’s body in a bodybuilder aura. And what’s that textured bottom? It’s an unhappy picture angle or the simple sartorial truth? Either way, if I were to pick a disappointing look at the 2012 edition of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Ball, this would pretty much be it! Because Cameron can do so much better! Disagree? (you can take a closer look in the gallery here!) (photos via)
Kate Bosworth In Prada Feathered Black Dress For Met Gala 2012
May 8th, 2012 by kpriss
I’ve been meaning to talk about Kate Bosworth since the beginning of the Met Gala 2012 Red Carpet arrivals. Somehow, she just slipped my mind. Because I’m not used to talking / praising Kate Bosworth.
Except this time she nailed all the good fashion reviews! Theme – wise, she fits right in with her Prada bordeaux to black ombre dress. Party – wise, you can’t do any better than a flapper / feathered dress! Fashion – wise, you have to wear ombre. In short – Kate Bosworth was one of the best dressed attendants at the special Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Ball. And she made it look so effortless and cool! Just wow! (for a closer look, check out the gallery!) (photos via)

Models At Met Gala 2012: Jessica Stam Light Blue Dior Couture Dress
May 8th, 2012 by kpriss
Interesting choice of dress for Jessica Stam on the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute 2012 Gala! Dark haired Jessica Stam was wearing a particularly intricate John Galliano for Christian Dior Haute Couture light blue dress (from the house’s Fall 2006 Couture collection). Trying to make a statement? Because she wasn’t trying to fit in, that’s for sure! Hmmm… {JJ, Style}
Models At Met Gala 2012: Karlie Kloss In Pink Jason Wu Dress
May 8th, 2012 by kpriss
Karlie Kloss, one of the most charismatic models of the moment teamed up with Jason Wu, one of the most appreciated designers of the moment. Their fashion pair is explosively stylish and joyful! Karlie’s pink Jason Wu dress for the Met Gala 2012 did more than compliment Karlie’s personality and looks: it was a very poignant homage to Elsa Schiaparelli trademark pink shade, honoring this year’s Costume Institute theme. Chapeau! {tFS}
Models At Met Gala 2012: Candice Swanepoel In Blue Rag & Bone Dress
May 7th, 2012 by kpriss
One of my favorite models, Candice Swanepoel, attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute 2012 Gala with Rag & Bone designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright. Candice‘s cobalt blue dress, inspired by Schiaparelli’s skeleton dress, had its own distinct personality, without being as daring and possibly deranging as the original (also shown in the picture below). Don’t you love that back detail? {JJ, VAm}

Models At Met Gala 2012: Joan Smalls Balmain Short White Dress
May 7th, 2012 by kpriss
Looking ten times better than the catwalk deal, Joan Smalls attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute 2012 Gala in Balmain short white dress (from the house’s Fall Winter 2012 2013 collection). Striking a pose with Balmain’s designer, Olivier Rousteing, Joan was the very picture of model perfection! Karolina Kurkova has some serious competition for tonight’s Best Dressed crown! {tFS, Style}
