She & Him Animated Baby It’s Cold Outside
December 20th, 2012 by kpriss
This is a wonderful pretext to talk about both Christmas and Zooey Deschanel! It just wouldn’t be Holiday without her singing! And I cross my fingers for her and Joseph Gordon Levitt to cross (artistic) paths once more and do another song together. Remember last year?
Zooey’s She & Him duo with Matt Ward actually produced a Christmas album last year: ‘A very She & Him Christmas’ which even brought them to a sing – along with Conan! But that was last year! This year, She & Him released this beautiful animated video for ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’ as directed by Elliot Dear.

Loving Sharon Stone’s Amica Bow Dress Cover
December 20th, 2012 by kpriss
I know it may just be the next big cliché (at least coming from me), but I really appreciated Sharon Stone’s Amica Anniversary issue cover! It’s simple, very classic and feminine. And Sharon’s features were always on the perfect side, as far as I’m concerned.
Also: her cover smile is amazing! Wide, perfect! And it doesn’t hurt the fashion spirit of the image in question – it actually brings glamour and freshness to the ensemble. But maybe that’s just me and the YSL bow dress throwback is too much charm for me to ignore so I’ve added three more images; you can hit the jump for more or click here for the gallery!
Jessica Simpson Advocating For Weight Watchers
December 20th, 2012 by kpriss
For a couple of days now, wherever I turn my head, there’s a title about Jessica Simpson’s Weight Watchers new commercial. Because, as I already warned you before, during the Holiday Season: weight & diet & exercising topics are the most praised and promoted subjects in the media.
But isn’t it a bit disturbing, seeing Jessica Simpson advocating for post pregnancy weight loss while actually being pregnant. Again? I’m happy for Jess and her positive results in what seemed to be a battle to regain her avant – baby body. But isn’t this all media – made? (the story continues right after the jump, don’t miss the video!)
Jennifer Aniston Pregnant? Anne Hathaway Pregnant?
December 20th, 2012 by kpriss
Now that I started talking about wee ones and baby bumps: have you heard the latest pregnancy rumors circulating around? They target Jennifer Aniston and Anne Hathaway. If Jennifer is one of tabloids’ favorite topics, the idea that Anne Hathaway could join the tabloid’s favorite speculations circle is a bit scary.
Why? Because it seems to me like it’s all because of her infamous wardrobe malfunction at Les Miserables premiere (just in case you haven’t heard about it already: Anne Hathaway was surprised by paparazzi flashes while getting out of the car for the Les Mis premiere. But she wasn’t wearing anything underneath her dress. So.. you do the paparazzi math! But Anne has been incredibly elegant about the entire malfunction matter, and very clever too. You can see her dealing with the situation after the jump, in a televised interview.)
Now: back to the baby bump tabloid wars. Jennifer Aniston is pregnant with twins. So they say. Naturally, a boy and a girl! (the story continues after the jump!)

Jennifer Garner’s Baby Boy, Samuel Affleck: Adorability Overload!
December 20th, 2012 by kpriss
If I were to point some other sisterhood I relate to, besides the baby bump sisterhood, then I think it would be ‘the adorbz overload sistherhood’. What does it mean? It mean that if I see – for instance – a picture of Samuel Affleck, like this one below, I wouldn’t, for the life of me, just keep it to myself! I’d have to share the huge amounts of adorability he’s carrying under that glowy skin of his!
You know I did it before, when I marveled at the impossibly cute boy of Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet: Marcel. Samuel here, much like his French adorability counterpart, Marcel, looks like an innate model: pouty, perfect lips, and that perfectly careless attitude that is so model – fit! Romeo Beckham, beware! Competition’s on the way! (images TRICO, BauerGriffinonline)
Loving Agnes Nabuurs Hair On Vogue Netherlands Cover!
December 19th, 2012 by kpriss
Talking about Karlie’s hair reminded me this lovely cover hair I’ve seen yesterday and got too carried away in the cookies baking before sharing my thoughts with you!
Vogue Netherlands January February 2013 cover is simple, white, with pink accents and a stunning beauty with really nice hair: Agnes Nabuurs as photographed by Erwin Olaf and styled by Marije Goedkoop. I love Vogue Netherland’s cover models! Firstly because they are just that – models and secondly because they’re Dutch. There’s nothing like home – made, really!
Getting back to the hair: much like the entire styling, it’s so natural and appealing! Maybe not necessarily Vogue material, but I do like the delicacy and the freshness of it. But what I like the most is the hair! And please, be kind, my hair looks like this. On its good days (wink). And I’m loving it!
Karlie Kloss’ Haircut Gets 6 Vogue Pages!
December 19th, 2012 by kpriss
Admittedly quite a switch from her long mane, Karlie Kloss’ haircut caused such a stir that even Vogue US had to write about it in their January 2013 issue. But … from mentioning it, to putting in six full pages about Karlie Kloss and her haircut? That’s really something else!
Garren was the hairstylist in charge and even Patrick Demarchelier was there to capture the moment. Karlie was nervous before the cut, but she admitted being over the moon with the end result. (the story continues right after the jump, don’t miss Karlie’s first picture with her new short hair!)
Carmen Kass In Fur Coat And Shoes For Harper’s Bazaar Spain
December 19th, 2012 by kpriss
Carmen Kass is one of the models I’m fond of. Because of her modeling and because of her extra – curricular activities as well (Carmen is a reputable chess player, she even ran for the European Parliament once!).
However, I strongly believe that this cover doesn’t do her any justice! Harper’s Bazaar January 2013’s simple, yet potentially controversial cover was photographed by Nico but seriously lacks appeal and aesthetic grace. And this sorrows me – it’s not like Carmen Kass gets a fashion magazine cover every month! So when she finally gets one, it looks like this? With this much Photoshop and actual lack of styling, anyone could’ve pulled the cover. Why pay a top class model to do it? (maybe the inside pictorial will show better taste and more glamour? For now, the lovely people at tFS only scooped this cover so far.)
