2014 Fall Bags And Shoes: Kate Spade FW14 Collection

If you prefer your outfits more on the lovely, retro side, you’ll find plenty of inspiration in the new Fall Winter 2014 2015 Kate Spade New York collection! It’s a fun, vivacious, colorful collection inspired by the Asian culture (more specifically by the famous high-speed bullet trains from Japan).

There’s a look for every occasion and mostly for the smart casual wardrobes. There’s no over-pretentious style for Kate Spade NY as the label’s rise to fame was propelled by a loyal base of fans who dress for the everyday in a lovely way.

Fun Bags

I’m starting with these to illustrate the exact meaning of the above. The fun and girly bags, although proposed for the cold months, could very well match any outfit, regardless of the season!

The shoes are a representative sample of the entire footwear wardrobe proposed by Kate Spade New York for the 2014-2015 fall winter season! No tall boots of heavy soles but very feminine pumps and oxfords instead!

Fur Bags

Having already spotted them on several catwalks, I think it’s safe to say that fake or authentic fur bags are definitely one of the must have items for fall winter 2014! Whether as clutches or handbags, the furry bags seen in Kate Spade New York’s collection were fun and timeless.

Paired with classic court shoes, the furry bags helped creating a modern, contemporary fun look without being too obvious or risque.

Fan Clutches

Clearly Inspired by the Asian culture, the fan clutches with their hanging leather tassel look more like objects of art than bags. In black or gold, the fans come with carefully lasercut leather and matching tassel and zipper for a coherent, lady-like look, finished with classic court shoes.

Clutches

We’re not done with the clutches yet, as you well know they make quite the mandatory addition to any wardrobe and a fixture on catwalks for the past couple of seasons. Here too we have the Asian-inspired clutches with a black one with colorful letters reading Hello Tokyo and a navy one in the shape of a train, looking pretty dandy!

The classic clutches were either in black (notice the furry addition) or in shiny patent leather with golden accessories. Excellently paired with the outfits and the shoes, yet another proof of the wearability and the accessibility of the Kate Spade New York label.

Mini Messenger Bags

Colorful and easily adaptable to casual but also smart looks, the mini messenger bags can double as shoulder bags or clutches. Notice the single pair of Kate Spade New York sneakers in the fall winter 2014 2015 collection! How fun and girly with the matching cheetah print, just like the skirt?

Satchels

Black and sturdy, these bags are just as reliable for daily routines as they’ve always been. I’ve said it before and I’ll never get tired of saying it: everyone needs a satchel in their life! Wear it as a should bag or cross-body bag, this is the perfect bag!

In black or colorful, in larger or smaller versions, the handbags proposed in the fall 2014 Kate Spade New York collection are complementing or contrasting their proposed looks. I loved the oxfords and the furry booties, the sequined/floral composition with an aligator skin bag or the grey ensemble with the leopard print bag! I would wear them all, wouldn’t you?
