I think even after reading the title alone, you’re all going “wha?” on me – well.. It has to be said!
After months, years of speculations, Zachary Quinto has finally admitted that he is gay! If you’re not hearing teenage girls all over the world crying in their pillows by now, then you’re most certainly not familiar with Heroes or the last Star Trek! However, congratulations are in order, for it really takes a lot of courage to finally come out, especially as a public person (check out his “it gets better” video after the jump)! Zachary Quinto is gay! And his coming out is most certainly not random and meaningless – in his words:
“….it became clear to me in an instant that living a gay life without publicly acknowledging it – is simply not enough to make any significant contribution to the immense work that lies ahead on the road to complete equality.”

Congrats? I find that the saddest part to be really honest. Hopes you get my drift? Zachary Quinto is a beautiful man. Period. That’s all! :)
The video is very moving though…. very moving…..
not just that, he’s also a very gifted actor and I hope what he did won’t impose any kind of boundaries on the characters which will be proposed to him.
Well to be honest it was not a surprise, but I am glad he did it in his own time and was not “outed” by the likes of Perez Hilton who loves to do that sort of thing.
I am sorry that was kinda harsh but I sometimes forget that it is not “normal” to be gay in this world. It does not surprise me either but I never did care. Equality? Sighs….I hope Zachary gets good parts anyway.
