Talking about David Bowie: here’s one of my personal favorites Golden Years. It’s really timeless and chic and it can very well be translated in every musical time! Right after the jump you can watch a video from an 83 concert recording. So eighties!

Did you know that Bowie drank heavily before the taping of this segment of the above watched Soul Train TV moment? It’s no wonder, though, at the time (1975) he was under influence most of the time.

Haha, Bowie what did David NOT use when younger? Watch the original video of Heroes and see what I mean. Recognize that drug? There’s a reason he’s The Thin White Duke right? Glad he survived all and is doing well :)
lol. yep, The Thin White Duke! That suits him so well! Iman said (in that interview) that he was an exquisite gentleman, even back in the high – days! Like you said, good for him now that he’s back from the white hell!
I believe that. I have met the nicest and even stylish people while they were under the influence of whatever….some survived, some did not…..
