If you happen to pass through Chicago, do not miss Marilyn Monroe’s giant statue! It’s a special art installation meant to honor Marilyn’s memory. Or so I think.
It would be really difficult to think of Marilyn and overlook this iconic scene from “The Seven Year Itch”. Even the dress she wore back then set an auction record, so I’m not that surprised to see her posing like this in the middle of Chicago. What? Rome has the Pieta, Chicago has upskirt Marilyn! To each its own! (via)

This reminds me of that scene in the Who film Tommy where the people go worship that statue of Marilyn Monroe. What does Marilyn have to do with the Windy City anyway?
This is a direct steal From Ken Russell’s film TOMMY.
