Assuming there’s still someone out there (who has been living under a rock and) who still doesn’t know that Vera Wang is the fairy tale name most of the young girls getting ready to marry whisper when thinking about their ideal wedding gown, I made this – short – intro just to warn you that Vera Wang’s Bridal collections are the crème of all bridal collections.
She’s been celebrating her legendary label with an exhibition and Bloomingdale’s: Vera Wang, 20 years, 11 dresses. No, that’s not the title of a new movie. It’s a wedding gowns exhibition! However, it’s the wedding season as we speak so it’ll be such a cruel thing to do not to show you some of Vera Wang’s bridal gowns! Hit the jump to see just why Vera Wang is the Queen of Bridal! (or click here for the gallery!)
The Spring 2010 collection is a 15 pieces collection standing against time and against crowds, as do all bridal gowns by Vera Wang. If there’s something I’d like to point out, besides the incredible beauty and elegance, it’s the evolution (in terms of style, appearance-wise) from the Spring 2009 season. You’ll notice that this year there’s little love for complicated detailing and uber glitzy dresses. Less is definitely more!
As for Vera Wang’s bridal collection Fall 2010, the images really speak for themselves! The source of inspiration is “My Fair Lady” so you should expect timeless gowns, unbeatable elegance and flawless style.
Whatever you’ll choose for your special day, keep in mind that it should reflect who you are, the couple you are and the life you’ll be wanting for your family from now on. It’s not the right time to experiment with Cruella DeVil nails or hairdo. It’s a celebration of love, a celebration of YOUR love and it should be about that, and who you are. Both of you!
And just in case, there’s so much inspiration on Vera Wang’s website (and in time, I’ll try to bring some more materials available on our beloved Internet) to help you decide how your big day should look like! How was your big day (in case you already had it) and how you wish it would be (in case you’re still waiting for the right time/person)?

Wow 20 years of creating beautiful bridal gowns! Vera Wang should be proud, her dresses are lovely.
I do wonder though how many of those brides are still married?
