Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage with Takashi Murakami

We’re getting closer to the new “monogramouflage” announced by Louis Vuitton.

The Brooklyn Museum has uploaded the shop items for the Murakami exhibition during which the famous new monogram by LV will see the light of day. It’s said to be designed by Takashi Murakami and still no idea of the outcome. The exhibition begins April 4… Until then, enjoy this few images from the Brooklyn Museum shop and feel free to speculate – colorful monogramouflage? Anime? What, what?

From Loic Prigent interesting documentary “Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton” I remember that Marc Jacobs and Takashi Murakami did met to talk about the cooperation with Louis Vuitton. Of course no details were showed. I’m curious too. This? Cute looking anime to me more like sweet toys. Especially the one left under. Not as the violent anime from Japan I’ve seen a lot.

I looked more into the subject and came across some material that I plan to gather in a new article. It was new to me and even if people have seen it before, it won’t hurt reminding them, it’s Murakami – LV related.
