It seems not only Chanel mixes sports and fashion. Emporio Armani sets his “7” brand target on the tennis course now.
Babolat (one of the leading names in tennis equipment) and Emporio Armani (wonder who’s got the product and who’s got the label in this story) issued a EA7 Tennis Racquet. For those of you knowing your way around tennis, it’s Babolat Pure Drive 107 (graphite) and Babolat cortex system (filtering out vibration) with Babolat signature two stripes on the circumference of the racket.
Emporio Armani features the eagle on the handle and in the overall look of the racquet since it’s all white, silver and black.
Have no idea whatsoever on the price, but I’m not among those who applaud this kind of products. I sometimes wish professionals would just stick to their field of expertise. Sometimes mixtures are interesting, but in general they carry a heavy price tag, completely unjustified.
What do you think? Is it worth it? Playing tennis with an Emporio Armani racquet?

Close. That’s the Babolat AeroPro Drive Cortex.
Agree about the stupidity of this idea, though.
I love tennis and I would get a Babolat brand ( because Rafa Nadal uses that brand and I adore him and yes I am lame! :D), but I would not buy it because Armarni or Chanel or Fendi makes it.
