Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Vanity Fair Vs Harper’s Bazaar December 2009

Instead of treating these two cover-stories separately, I chose to bring them closer together, see the flaws (or appreciate the coherence).

A solo Robert Pattinson on the December 2009 cover of Vanity Fair but a couple-ish Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart break on the December 2009 cover of Harper’s Bazaar. It’s all happening this December 2009, on a magazines stand near you! (the story continues with more images right after the jump!)

I’m seriously waiting for his Twimoment to fade into something more substantial before I say that Robert Pattinson was made for one role and one role only. Even if everyone (and their respective dogs) was expecting a “Breaking Dawn” revelation about his rumored relationship with co-star Kristen Stewart, there’s nothing even remotely close to a confession. Instead you get (longer than my available patience) interviews and loads of photos signed by Bruce Weber (for Vanity Fair) and Mark Selinger (for Harper’s Bazaar).

I still hold a positive perspective over Twilight and everything around it. Well, almost everything. But not because it’s an overwhelmingly literary and cultural phenomenon but because it still delivers the true love message. And that’s always a good thing. Instead of seeing them ditching every single value we used to cherish to “outdated” and not hype anymore, it’s a good believe to install in our young generation’s hearts. That there’s still love, true love out there. Lasting and powerful.

If you’re wondering how come they cover Harper’s Bazaar posing like a couple (as well as the pictorial inside, stubbornly insinuating a relationship between the two co-stars), don’t think further than bank accounts: Harper’s Bazaar and Vanity Fair respectively, for one and New Moon box office on the other hand. I like Kristen’s apparent lack of interest for her new found fame. She looks like a normal teen and that’s good. But I keep in mind the fact that everything-Hollywood is basically made of smoke and mirrors and these two covers are living, print proof!

Getting back to Robert Pattinson: despite of him being compared to the likes of James Dean more often than I care to remember, I want to see more of his so-called rebel acting genius before judging him on or off. For now the only pro I give him just because is having a British accent. And that’s all, folks! What do you make of Robert Pattinson, outside Edward Cullen? (I dare not ask if you think the two are a couple, it’s just too much!) (photos via 1, 2)

I need to update myself with these Twilight people. I’ve nothing much to say about it really. I don’t think he’s that handsome, he has a special look though. An interesting look.
I know that Kristen Stewart plays Joan Jett in a upcoming biopic about this rock-queen.
So I begin to get curious. Are they a couple? No clue. My gaydar and gay friend says something else…..???

I say they’re not. Maybe there has been something between them but even so, their contracts are franchised at a higher-than-life level so if they’re together, they’re not supposed to come clean about it. And if they’re not, they’re not supposed to come clean about that either! They’re proud citizens of the United States of Marketing.

Good morning Kpriss! :)

“Proud citizens of the United States of Marketing.” :D But that’s also kinda sad right? It’s 4pm in my timezone: I’m off for grocery shoppings. So exiting…..:(

Anyone who thinks twilight is true love is demented. It’s a weak pushover’s abusive relationship with a glittering rock. There’s no love involved. It’s an unhealthy obsession. Both of them look like druggies regardless of how much makeup Vanity Fair and Harper’s Bazaar smears on their pale little faces. They’re still boring.
