You know I fell for Alexander Wang’s laid back T line. But this is slightly different. Alexander Wang’s Spring Summer 2010 Collection is young, college ready and football friendly with a safari twist.
Though what made more buzz from this collection was the side careless tail, Alexander Wang feels sport is in the summer air in 2010. (the story continues right after the jump with more images and a video of the Fashion Show!)
It’s mainly soft grey with beige and other safari tones and cuts, sportive looks and edgy angles bent by a hippy collegian routine. Whatever you want to do (especially by night), forget your pants. Keep your knee high socks and your leggings, sparkle the night away!
You need not to worry, Alexander Wang shows you that you can reinvent your every piece of clothing from your already existing wardrobe (including the lingerie drawer as the complete Pièce de résistance!) to fit next year’s trends. I do like some of it as it is a fresh approach. I love the shoes that they models are wearing. :)
I love this! Mwah!! Indeed a fresh approach. Beautiful and comfortable and somewhat casual looking all at the same time. The knee high socks looks cute and sexy but on women? No. I always hated that stripe below the knees when you take them off, argh…. And yes, great shoes :D
And his “A”? I can make it mine too no problem.

I have been a fan of Wang for quite a time now. What I love about his design is that it combines luxe and sport together. His clothes were comfortable but so great in separate. For this collection I love that it is so focus but has a twist that not shine over the main theme but complement. Job well done!
