Christy Turlington keeps the supers in this season’s ads campaign. Photographed by Mario Sorrenti, Christy Turlington appears accompanied by Oriol Elcacho, a typical, ageless, timeless male model.
The main advantage of this campaign is that I can’t really place it in a specific time (or location). It’s simply not about “the moment” is about the passing. Brian Atwood’s favorite, Christy brings such an amazing modesty in this campaign that you almost forget what day is and what the pictures were supposed to be about. (the story continues right after the jump!)
Even if the ads were styled by Lori Goldstein (who regularly works with Versace and Vanity Fair), there’s no forced glamour and no suggested explicitness, Versace’s usual ad signature. So far, this is my favorite ad for Fall-Winter 2009/2010. Would it be because of Christy? (via)

Of course it’s Christy!
I second that.
It’s classy, and Ms.Turlington nailed it!
Stellar as always with Christy Turlington! These ads are lovely.
Who designed that dress she’s wearing in the first ad?
She’s simply the BEST! Christy is an amazing model, author, businesswoman, philanthropist, student and mother. Go Christy!
