I’m one to think as the British elegantly put it “too poor to buy cheap” that quality is important. But branding and quality are not supposed to come together as one in an effort to spend more just to buy the label.

I have fair skin, I work in fashion and I tend to hang on to things for a very long time. That is how I can justify (although I know it seems nearly impossible) the price of this Prada hat. But hear me out. Not only will this hat keep the sun off my face, but also I can wear it at the beach or in the city — and, well, I need a replacement for the Kangol cap I have now worn for about eight years. And for those of you who would suggest that I buy myself a $19.99 glue gun and make my own Prada hat, believe me, I would if I could! For now I’ll take the ready-made version and think of the money it might save me on dermatologist bills down the road.

Yeah. She shouldn’t have bothered trying to justify that purchase. If you want a ridiculously expensive hat and can afford to do so, just buy it. Don’t try to explain why it’s a sound investment.
Oh, how many great Goorin Bros hats can I, fair skinned woman (+one that must wear a hat due to my disease) buy for that amount of money? I don´t even want that silly thing. I would look and feel like a complete fool!

A chanel bag or Birkin is a investment they are classics timeless , there values will increase. A trendy prada hat is a waist of money because next season this is hat is going to be out of style and she is going to buy the new in item, unless her dermatologist charges a $$$$$$ a lot or she goes a bunch time in about 4 month , her investment is not going to pay off.
She don’t even need a dermatologist to tell her that we all need to use SPF’s on a daily basis! Everybody, especially in her world of evergoing-on-being beautiful-and-young, knows that…..
