You missed a good Madonna cover? The days of the Madge-covers-intoxication are now history but Lid Magazine brings us an oldie but goldie Madonna on one of their four covers for Issue #8.
Lid is one of those photo artsy magazines aiming to be as coveted and as impressive as a photography book. Biannual, Lid comes in black and white, featuring the best images in the world without any time anchor, taking past and present, creating a beautiful vision on photography & everything else. Founded by Dagon James and famous illustrator David Croland, Lid Magazine it’s already at its 8th issue. The current multi cover is taken by Madonna by Marina Schiano, Michelle Obama by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, REM’s Michael Stipe by Jorg Steinmetz, Brigid Berlin by Brigid Berlin.

I kind of like all four covers, they are reflective of different portrait styles and that is interesting to me.
This magazine seems rather nifty. :)
I love Michael Stipe, he looks like he really has lived his life and still does. He looks so pure. This must have to do a bit with 80’s (and bit off 90’s) music revival at home….
