Vanessa Paradis Spring Ready For Harper’s Bazaar Russia

Try I could, but ignore this particular cover impossible is. Choosing the wise ways of Master Yoda (wink) to smarten up yet another cover talk! Not your everyday cover, however! I’m all impressed at the simple, yet very striking styling of this Harper’s Bazaar Russia April 2013.

Everything works for Vanessa Paradis and nothing against her or the cover itself. I like it because it’s not pretentious, it’s not pouty, it’s not hysterical and not too polished. I like it because it has spring colors, it hints at the spring season, it’s very (maybe too much) color-coordinated and coherent, it’s dynamic and playful and… well.. I like it because it’s Vanessa Paradis (wink). How about you? Would you pick this magazine out of the newsstand’s fashion magazines colony this month?
