Explosive Cross Cultural Tom Ford Fall 2013 Collection

All is but moving sand in fashion. Hence, Tom Ford, after repeatedly trying to blind us with exclusive closed doors presentations, came back on the open catwalk. But he didn’t do that silently and discretely, oh no, he did it with a KA – POW! In all fashion sense, biensur.

Our favorite models walked down the runway with a frown or with a strangely tanned warrior expression. Almost like this collection had Tom Ford himself cringing permanently. A colorful explosion of multi sourced inspiration feast before our fashion hungry eyes: ethnically inspired prints, crisscrossing cultural silhouette, acutely graffitiesques comics subtleties. You name it, if it had a POP! ring to it, it was in Tom Ford’s Fall 2013 collection!

The reports state that every participant was drowned in Tom Ford Noir perfume, so it was clearly a particular, distinct state you had to enter in order to fully understand and enjoy the sartorial reach of this Tom Ford Fall 2013 Fashion Show! Something beyond the usual ready – to – wear palette.

Colorful geometries, inflated animal prints, leather fringes, oversized embroidered flowers. I tried to isolate the main fashion trends coordinates as I perceived them walking down this runway. But honestly, can anyone ignore the boots? Let’s discuss those boots, please, I can’t take no more general talk!

I do like Tom Ford.
He knows he is a brand and presents himself, and his designs as such.
This is a nifty collection, I am ever so glad he is doing women’s clothing again. : )

I’d never like Tom Ford and I still don’t.
