How is 2013 treating you so far, my dahlings? How was your New Year’s Eve party? Or the very first day of 2013? How about a little moment of MixInspiration? After all, it’s our first Hump Day this year!
I recently discovered that I have more pink clothes that I care to admit. More pink nail polishes that I care to differentiate and I feel more inspired by pink – anything that I care to acknowledge! I was always a bit tomboy-ish and always trying to swim against the flow. I think my rebel days are gone now. Unless rebels go for pink nowadays (wink).
Oh, and I also like glitter. A lot. Actually – glitter makes me so happy! Why is that? I think I’ll have to leave glitter out for another MixInspiration session. For now, let’s enjoy a healthy dose of pink and a bit of futuristic wisdom: ‘The Best is yet to Come’! Have a nice 2013! (as usually, the pictures were carefully handpicked and assembled by yours truly. If you recognize any of the images as your own, please step forward for proper crediting! Thank you!)

I am going to die as a rebel!! Pink is not my colour. Although I do own two salt crystal lamps which spread a soft pink-ish light.
see, see? it all starts somewhere! And the fact alone that you already own not one but two pink -ish lamps should make you think ;)
nee, nee! I miss my nice flame lamps with dimmers. We’re forced by Bruxelles to use those ugly and expensive envoriment friendly lamps. I have been envoriment friendly since I was young. Before it was in fashion. Duh!
So I saw those lamps in a spiritual shop where I buy ethereal oils. Came home and read about the crystal salt lamps and their benefits. Still not sure if it works but they are a nice alternative for my beloved flame light…:) :P
I still say it’s only the beginning :)
But then again, if you’d walk past by me, on the street, I’d be just another one of those dressed in black. Or khaki. or basic – neutral colors. So I may just be pink at heart :)
Oh, don’t defend yourself! Be pink at heart! Live and live is my motto :)
If I would have dinner at your place or just come over for tea or coffee this week I would have brought you flowers. Some in pink and use a pink ribbon for the bunch of flowers ;) :*
oh, my! Be careful what you’re wishing for :)
not with this one, not at all!! :D
my correction *tea* is under moderation. Hereby undone ;)
….back to the kitchen….:)
I like pink, it is a cheerful colour. I love it when men wear a dash of pink be it a tie, or a shirt, socks or a scarf., and I love to sometimes wear a dash of it my self. : )
I hope that the best is yet to come but with the best also comes the worse for a tad, but do not despair for that is how we know it is the best when it shows up. : )
I have wore pink a lot my ladies. I do not hate the colour at all!! It sounds like I hate but that’s not true. I remember a lot of pink items in the past but these days they do not look good on me anymore.
I get what Ellington means. :)
It wasn’t my intention to bash your love for the colour pink. That would be too silly anyway :)
Very silly……I forgot my self made moirè curtains in pink!! That ‘old French castle pink’. Don’t know how to explain the colour in English……
At Stylefrizz’ FB timeline I noticed a beautiful wall painting. Something that comes close to a painting I fantasize, dream about for my bedroom. And wish someone would make painting like that…..lots of subtle in pink in that painting ;) <3
