My dahlings! Every now and then you’ll hear me talk about some favorite TV series or one of the recent movies we’ve seen. As such, you heard me pleading in favor of Breaking Bad a couple of times before. Haven’t you?
Here’s Aaron Paul. He’s costarring Bryan Cranston in the above mentioned TV drama and, guess what? He’ll be unemployed soon! Because, my dahlings, after four amazing, soul shattering years, Breaking Bad is at its final (fifth) season! Of which the first episode (out of 16, split in two segments) airs this very Sunday, July 15! (the story continues right after the jump!)
You’ve seen Bryan Cranston taking his acting genius outside the TV Screen (Rock of Ages’ Mike Whitmore, anyone?), but not Aaron Paul. And I sometimes ask myself – discuss it with my Husband – why would that be… His acting is impeccable as seen from AMC’s series, so why not take it to the big screen?
Well, part of “why” is explained in GQ’s August 2012 interview: like he’s getting married soon and he’s obsessed with music concerts. Other than that, you can read more yourself here. Oh, and don’t forget: this Sunday 10p.m., AMC: Breaking Bad’s final season (part one) first episode is ooooon!

OMG this is going to be so hard for me. Here in the Netherlands we are still waiting for season three. So I have to beware for spoilers!! The first series was broadcast daily. I was addicted after one shot. Then the second series was broadcast once a week. And oh my how I missed my daily fix desperately! And now…sighs…Mr. Heisenberg I need the blue stuff!
I have read that Jesse (Aaron)was only meant to be in the first series. He had to die! But after the writers/producers noticed the chemistry between Bryan and Aaron they decided to rewrite the end. And what would BB be without Jesse? He’s so adorable and annoying. Aaron is a great actor. I sincerely hope he does not disappear as many other great actors I noticed on the small screen before him.
For now I enjoy other bad stuff: just saw two first episodes of The Borgias. Wow! New addiction :)
Kpriss, thanks for the link with the interview. Is bookmarked. No more spoiler alert? Obsessed with music concerts? Ha! I fully understand that ;)
